Watched a couple youtube videos on how to do it. Took me about 20 mins to install and requires 2 different sizes of Allen wrenches. It has rings you can remove to lower the height. It adds about 4 inches. Well worth it and made my bike more comfortable of a ride for me. Not even noticeable on the bike

I really wanted to like this extender because it's the perfect size, material and color for my bike. However, after installing it and taking my bike for a short ride, I noticed the handlebars started to twist. After closer inspection, it seems like the top screw had come loose. Luckily, I was not far from home, so I decided to ride home to tighten it. Right as I rode up my driveway, the handlebars gave way and I fell. I told myself that maybe I hadn't installed the extender correctly, so I inspected everything and followed the steps again. This time, I made sure I tightened the top screw very tightly. This morning I took it out for a longer ride. A few minutes into it, it happened again...my handlebars were loose. I can't imagine what would've happened if I was riding on a busy street. It's dangerous.

Wow does this thing work great, or what. Relieved my neck and shoulder pain first time out. I played with the shims provided and came up with the perfect solution. This is a must to have, buy one there not that expensive, you will be soooo glad.

This definitely makes it longer, larger and harder.When you’re looking down you can see it got bigger.Who knew adding 4 more inches would make a huge difference.It just wasn’t long enough before but now even my wife noticed the extension, I can tell was very happy I got the extension.When it was short I would have to bend down and my back would hurt after this extension I can plow through with out any difficulties.

I love the fact that I can elevate my upper body on the bike now. No more aggressive riding. And it matches my Trek Dual Sport perfectly.

I have a Quietkat Ranger 10 and the bars were just to low. I purchased this riser and it worked better than I expected.

I bought two of these. One for my wife's bike and one for mine. They are easy to install and adjust for our desired height. Having them makes all the difference in our bike riding comfort. If you're hunched over while riding and want to set more upright, I'd recommend installing them on your bike.

I am Dutch and have ridden bikes for a better part of 50 years. The thing I can never seem to get used to is this leaning over your handlebars riding position. It puts a lot of strain on your arms and neck and it doesn't seem to be worth the reduction in drag, especially when you are only using the bike for recreational rides or going to the shops.So I decided to fix the problem with this product. It seems to do the job fine. I gave it 4 stars because I would have preferred slightly sturdier bolts. They are probably adequate, but if they had been a size bigger I would probably feel a bit safer.

I had terrible palm pain for months and months till i used this,its lifted the bars up three inches or so.I was worried it would make the bike look stupid or ride differently but it doesnt at all.It now feels like a cruiser rather than a racer and takes pressure off your arms etc and puts more on the ass.Dont over tighten the bolts just over nipped remember that

Good quality metal fitment easily assembled. I bought one for a bike I had set up on a cradle in my home during the winter snow .Very pleased with change to riding position. So I bought another unit which I was going to fit to my MTB/ road bike. I could not use it, not due to any defect in the unit but unfortunately I found the headrace bearings on my bike were too loose and will have to be replaced.

Looks awesome on my fixie. My wrists and shoulders were hurting as the handlebar was too low. This sorted the issue. Love it.
