This is a beautifully crafted Custom Made Damascus Steel Rattler Bowie Knife w/ Frost Wood Handle. Damascus for this knife was created by forge welding multiple layers of steels into a Solid block called a billet (15N20 &1095 High Carbon Tool Steels). The billet is folded and re-welded several times to produce several layers. Patterns are created by manipulating the steel during the forge welding process. When acid is added to the blade, it attacks the layers of hard and soft steels differently, highlighting the attractive layered pattern in the Steel. The combination of layered hard and soft steel creates blade flexibility, toughness and produces invisible serrations on the blade that aid cutting. The hardness of the Damascus steel is 55-60 HRC on Rockwell scale. The handle is full tang, made of Frost Wood, with a brass spacer and a brass guard. There are also brass pins spanning the handle. The blade of the knife has a blood groove running through it. This knife comes with a genuine leather sheath, with a belt loop on one end. This knife is a must have for any hunter or outdoors-man!

Definitely one awesome and beautiful knife But Very Poor Seller!!
Update: This is a very beautiful knife. And no doubt that if made and sold without flaws, this knife will last a Lifetime.I took this knife iut on a camping trip to use it for the very first time. I had had it for just under 60 days but had never used it.While using it to cut up some small branches for a camp fire, part of the blade broke off the other part. There must of been either a known or unknown (to maker and seller) crack in the blade. This does happen sometimes. I am an avid knife user and collector, owning knives ranging from $100 to $1500.When I got back from my trip I contacted the Seller through Amazon to discuss a possible replacement or a full refund. The seller Immediately Refused the replacement or refund, refused to even discuss it with me, and Immediately Closed my request. This led me to believe the Seller, Fantastic Mr. Fox, was very aware of the blade being defective. Anazon Customer Service then suggested I file an A To Z Refund Claim and guaranteed me that I would receive my full refund. Two different Amazon Reps assured me of this. However, the next day a different Rep from Amazon contacted me via email and said my refund was Refused.I then contacted Amazon Customer Service again, and let them know hust how angry and frustrated I was to of been promised a refund by two different Reps, and then refused it by a different Rep.Now, a 3rd Rep from Amazon replied to my email, apologized, and suggested that I resubmit the A To Z Guarantee Claim and Assured me that This time my Claim would be accepted and my full refund granted.I did as was suggested and now will just wait and see. Since then, I have Re-purchased this same knife from a different Seller. My negative review here is not on the knife itself...But it is on the Seller of this knife, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and the very negative response this seller took with me, Immediate Refusal of replacement or refund, and their quick "No Discussion About It!!" attitude!!I will not leave a negative thouggt about Amazon just yet...Not until I see whether or not they are going to make this right, and honor their 3rd promise to me of my full refund!!
