This heavy body acrylic is easy to work with and mix with other colors for desired effect. I would recommend it for canvas or poster board.

During my college days, I needed an extra class and so I took up painting. Little did I know how expensive but well worth the class would be. During my first week, I needed to invest in various colors of paint and green being one of them. As I knew nothing about what I needed, I went into the store grabbed a few paints and decided to try out various companies in my first class.I was very happy when I got to test out Liquitex green. To start off with, it comes in a nice squeeze tube with a narrow opening. When I was in class, I painted for the full time, but when using various colors, did not need that much so having control of the squeeze was really nice.The next part I liked was the thick opaque color. I like the thickness so when I mixed it with various colors, it held its own weight and looked nice. I like mixing colors and LIquitex gave me the flexibility to do so. As for the actual color, the green is really nice. It is like a nice dark forest green when squeezed out of the tube. When applied to canvas, it gets a little lighter but not to much. It looks great when painting forests and dark green leaves.My only not liking is that for some reason the green has a slightly sticky texture compared to the other colors. It is just in the texture and will not effect the way the paint goes on the canvas.The LIquitex paint is really amazing. It is a nice green paint that will add a lot to your collection of paint.

This was a bit on the pricier side, compared to art supply stores, but at least it was in stock and came quickly.
