Manufacured by Dahua - Chinese surveillance tech banned around the world
Only if I knew the cameras were manufactured by Dahua Chinese surveillance tech. They are banned in USA and across the world together with Hikvision. Is Dahua banned in the UK?'UK Foreign Affairs Committee Recommends Full Hikvision And Dahua Ban. The UK Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee has recommended that Hikvision and Dahua "should not be permitted to operate within the UK" over-involvement in "Xinjiang atrocities". ' Look this up.I bought 6 cameras, 2 of them had to be returned due to poor performance - infrared light faulty, purple picture. I guess I'm stuck with the other 4. The cameras are great but do you want this in your home?

RTSP stream works
I bought this as it was cheap, appeared to support RTSP and is unobtrusive, so doesn't look out of place in the house. The RTSP support was difficult to confirm ahead of ordering, but a review on here with a response from Imou gave me some hope.Setup with the app is pretty easy and gives a nice clear view, with motion detection facilities available, cloud based and SD card storage. However, I wanted to run this via my own local NVR setup, using Blue Iris. The RTSP stream can be accessed via the following URL:rtsp://<your-ip-address>:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=OnvifThe username is admin, the password is on the bottom of the camera.Accessing via VLC was as easy as pasting that address in. Blue Iris was a little more temperamental, but it did eventually capture the stream using the generic onvif option.Note that it does not support a http interface.Overall, seems good for what I needed, but could really use some better documentation.

A great indoor NEST camera alternative
This is a brilliant little camera and well worth the money. The app is great and quality of the video is superb. The cloud storage offered by Imou seems a little pricey, however the SD card recording works great for constant recording and motion detection recordings at the same time. RTSP feeds can be accessed for use with a CCTV NVR also, so you get the best of all worlds if needed, cloud, local and network recordings from the same device. The setup process is a little odd in comparison to other cameras, instead of using a QR code for example your phone or tablet is needed to be close to the camera for initial setup where bird like chirps etc send the configuration audibly to the camera - it works though so it's fine but might give people problems in noisy environments. I use this pointing out of a window so I have disabled the IR LED's as you get a lot of reflected light washing out the whole picture which means unless you have an outside IR repeater or a security light then night recordings are invisible - however if used as intended as an inside camera facing into a dark room then the night vision is very good. The video feeds are fast to load even on cellular networks and the camera never misses a beat - it just works as intended. There is special "Human Detection" alert which is additional to normal "Motion Detection" which does indeed notify you when a person is in view, however I have had notifications of human detection when my dog is in the garden and also when pigeons fly past - but you don't seem to get notification when trees move with this option which is good. The app can also notify you if the device is ever offline also, however other than testing this by powering the camera off (which worked) I have never seen the notification since or experienced the camera being offline when I wanted to check a feed - it just always works as expected. The build quality is very good and comes from a strong CCTV player in the market - so you cannot really go wrong with this product - and I have since purchased an Imou outdoor camera too and found this is also as reliable and good value for money.Overall a great product.

You can't beat this for the price
In reality, there are far better cameras out there but looking at its price point, this is a great little camera. I have several Hikvision ones for my CCTV which have better picture quality but are also 3-4x the price. The app seems to work well and setup was a breeze, instructions are clear and it worked first time unlike a few other cheap cameras I have used.I wanted a Wifi Camera which worked with BlueIris and several reviews said it did so I took a punt knowing I could return if it didn't work. It took a little while of changing settings in BlueIris but it worked fine for me eventually using RTSP and the following URL:rtsp://[IP of Camera]/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=OnvifUsername is admin and the password is the secure code written on the bottom. Took a while for the image to show up so be patient but worked fine when it did. There is no option to do a Static IP on it so I just did a DHCP reservation on my router which achieved the same purpose. We wanted something with 2 way audio which we could use whilst our newborn was in his moses basket next to our bed and this worked perfectly for that. Once he is in is nursery, I will repurpose for use elsewhere. To be fair, I only used the app to set it up initially so I can't comment on it much but it seemed fairly slick and provided a lot of features.Personally I would not use this as one of my primary CCTV cameras as the image quality is not as good as the Hikvision ones both day and night but then again, its a quarter of the price so to be expected.Having tried a few cheap Wifi cameras, this is the best by far from the easy setup to the fact it supports RTSP. This is an awesome little camera for 33 quid.
