Nice addition
Like the fact that they are direct replacements

May not 100% match frame holes but it works
I apologize for not providing pictures but the holes were ever so slightly off which made mounting a “B” word. I got it to fit but other than that it seems to do the job. If it lasts more than a few years I’ll give it 5 stars.

Pretty much what was expected.
They are sturdy. I would prefer to pay a little more and get superior rust prevention with something like powder coating. These are an adequate black painted steel. At least I am bolting them on so I can easily replace them in a few years when rust ruins them. Biggest disappointment was the "tool". Broken on first use. Really? You expect a crappy Chinese 1/8" screw to hold up to turning a 3/4" socket on a hand crank lifting nearly two tons? Better go back and check your "punk engineering" on that one!

Excellent USA Made Scissor Jack
Ok, folks seem to ask how thick the steel is on these Jacks compared to the flimsy ones that come on most campers. Here's the skinny on it:I used a micrometer at various points around the metal on These BAL Jacks. I came up with it being close to .125 thick or 1/8 inch steel, ( 11 gauge) it was actually .121-.122, the reason is because Carbon Steel gauge thicknesses dont come in exact 1/8 (.125) thickness,it is slightly less at .1196, which is about right on my micrometer reading because I was checking over the painted surface. The junky jacks I replace these with came in at 18 guage ( .0478) or about .050 thickness over the paint. So the BAL jacks are well over twice as thick! They are heavy, each one is substantially weighs a lot more than the junky originals I replaced them with. It has a Double acme thread , which allows it to move up and down a lot faster than the originals. Likewise, the BAL jack threaded rod diameter is at least twice the diameter than the orginal! Great job BAL!!! I now have all four on my Puma 25 XLE RBSC and its solid as a rock!

Sturdy Jack but not sure of the handle
I purchased this jack not for an RV but to raise a car from the rear where there is no central jack point, such as the one typically found in the front and where one can use a hydraulic floor jack.I screwed a 2x4 to the top of the jack with the supplied screws and then placed the jacks under the suspension assembly near the wheels. Turning the crank 1 turn on each jack provided enough lift to keep the car balanced. The jacks were solid and provided good stability with the base they have. The front of the car was tied and the wheels chocked for safety and to restrict motion.I had to raise and lower the rear several times to be fully confident that it will go up straight and not sideways. This is when I noticed that the supplied handle developed a play at the socket. It did not break or anything. My observation is that compared to the solid jack assembly, the socket assembly with the pin felt sub-par and could fail at a point where the operator may get stuck with the jack half deployed or half removed. This is my reason for the 4-stars.Update:After the car was done, I had to lower it using the handle on the jacks. I had to go slowly adjusting the car height up or down to make sure it does not slip. This is when the pin in the handle broke. Its a screw specially tapered and made of alloy. I contacted BAL to replace the screw and purchase a few extras. They sent me a new handle under warranty. The replacement handle has the same kind of screw, which I think is the weakest link in this product, literally.

Very sturdy and great stabilization.
The difficulty was related to welding mounting plates that were not included with these jacks. We got 2 sets of mounting plates that were made to accommodate these jacks by Little House Customs. The plates, once welded on allow the jacks to be bolted on without having to drill holes in the frame of our Casita. Once installed, it was very easy to get set up and stabilized last weekend when we camped at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground. The made for rock solid stabilization and no movement when we walked around in our Casita. Very happy with how they turned out!

Significant Upgrade, Made in USA
Admittedly, it's not a fair comparison with my OEM jacks that came on my Viking popup camper, the originals don't show a rating but I'm sure they are lighter duty. After a few years of intermittent use, 3 of the originals had bent main screws so when raising or lowering they wobbled a lot and didn't stabilize as well. I didn't want to deal with this again so upgraded and chose BAL due to Made In USA and 7500lb rating. You can clearly see the difference in the screw size. They also weight exactly twice the Chinese versions due to thicker steel (14lb 10oz vs. 7lb 5oz on my scale). It would have been nice if the hole patterns matched but I'm going to have to re-drill.As others mentioned, box is totally inadequate for shipping and was damaged. But no missing parts or damage beyond a few minor scratches which considering the application is obviously no biggie.
