This headpiece is very well made and looks classy. The only thing negative is how the metal leaves can dig into your head if you don't bend them slightly out of the way. It's not hard to do and after bending them slightly away from the forehead it rests comfortably on the head. Other than that, it is very nice. I thought about cutting the back side so I could bend the band into a larger size, but after reshaping the headpiece it wasn't necessary.

Looks great! We bought 2 - one for each of us to wear to a Greek-themed costume party. You should know that this is made of very pointy metal and when you try to fit it snug to your head it digs painfully into your scalp. We used wire cutters to snip them open so they would fit more loosely and comfortably, which helped a lot, and they stayed on with no problems. They look expensive and we had many compliments on them.

This came completely round and was not going to fit on an adult head in that shape. We had to very carefully bend it into a semi-oval shape to be able to use it, and then it was still uncomfortable to wear for very long. The leaves have sharp edges and we had to carefully bend those out so they wouldn't cause injury when wearing it. The metal seemed somewhat brittle, so we were worried it was going to break while trying to get it into a shape where it could be worn.That said, once we had it into a shape where it could be worn, it looked great with the costume. The gold color was nice and shiny so it stood out against the head/hair, and it was sturdy enough it wasn't going to fall apart.

My son used this for a history presentation that he gave where he dressed up as a Roman Emperor. He used a toga outfit along with this crown. He looked great and it complimented the costume very well. He looked like a true Roman.

This item is made from heavy gauge metal. It's very rigid and does not mold to the shape of the head.I did my best to bend the individual metal leaves outward so they wouldn't dig into my head but it was still incredibly uncomfortable.
