how long is the handle?

No handle. Only a knob to hold on to. Knob has a threaded hole for pole attachment and pivots left and right and up and down.

Yes it come with a pad. The size is 12x9 cm.

Will this work with textured walls (orange peel)?

This would not work on a textured wall. They are very good at cutting in edges on a flat surface.

Does this work to edge a wall for a cathedral ceiling using a 12" extensuon pole?

I tried using it with an ext. pole to edge the wall along my high ceiling, disaster! I have pop corn ceilings so that may have been the culprit. I went back to a regular edger that does not swivel.
