Q: I was able to buy these at the store for $3.29. Why are they so expensive on Amazon?

My selling price on amazon is $1.99. However I think the price increases due to shipping charges. As you are aware, US postal services increased shipping rates. All I can say is when you order on amazon, you have the convenience o ordering and having it delivered right into your home, saving you a trip to the store

Great product

Good and thick but there is smudge.

I checked out the writing. All are thick and bold. Lighter colors don't make an impact (especially light green) but there are a few good ones in darker shades (purple & black). I intend to use this in Spirograph.When opened requires a bit of writing for the ink to flow and there is smudge (ink leak) upon usage. For 1.6mm, I guess it happens more than with 1.0mm.
