Thor Kitchen 30 inch Freestanding Pro-Style Professional Gas Range with 4.2 cu. ft, 4 Burners, in Stainless Steel - HRG3080U + LP Conversion Kit

Beware: Range is a stinky fish in a beautiful package. I bought at a local appliance store and was grateful I did, because they are taking it back and giving me credit for another stove. 2 months into it, and doing everything to make this work, I give up. I bought because I read old reviews that were great. Somehow, they changed the design. Had no idea, nor did the sales department, that it was an only convection oven. Manual doesn’t even state that. It documents the same as all ranges, under features: convection oven. Option, right? Wrong. Call the company and you will be told it’s meant to be used convection. The temp is automatically 25 degrees lower. Regular bake was 75 degrees off! I was told this is also normal, given the 25 degree lowering for convection…and oven can be 50 degrees off. Great. That means if I need a 450 regular bake oven, I can’t get there! 500 is as high as it goes. Also, I was told it can’t be calibrated! The cooktop has grates that are huge, giving a pro look. Beautiful! Just try to boil water in a teapot. It will take you 30 minutes to get there! Casseroles in the convection at Thanksgiving took 3 times as long. I thought convection was supposed to be faster. Overall, this range is maddening, not holding the heat at all. Temp gauges show 50 degrees up and down without opening door. You’d expect this with a cheap stove, not a “Pro” model. Looks are fleeting. Indeed it’s a beauty. That’s all it is.

This was bought for my new house. We don't have natural gas so this stove came with a kit for lp. Our range burners can't be adjusted so flames are all over the place. Thor has been unsatisfactory. They are no help at all. Don't buy!

This seemed like a good deal at first however the quality of the range is very poor. The door won’t close tight so it is hard for the oven to get to temperature. It is not safe. The problems starting appearing about 6 months into owning it.The customer service is very bad. We have been waiting for several months and Renette, apparently the only person that works there has been giving us the run around. Saying the can’t find a technician in our area. It has been a dark cloud hovering above us.I would never buy anything Thor again.I don’t like writing bad reviews and will make sure to write at least five good reviews for products I do like and enjoy. This is genuinely a bad product and a bad company.

The worst company ever to buy from. 3 burners are broken and the oven knob broke right off! No help from the company who sold it to us! Thousands of dollars and no one cares. We bought in June - it is October and we have had no help. It should be criminal to not help people with the faulty product you sold them!

PLEASE READ-DO NOT BUY Thermador. Our range has had issues since purchase. We built our house 2 years ago and have so many issues with the Thermador range. Customer service is poor and difficult to contact. They have provided little to no assistance. We currently do not have a working oven, steamer, or warming drawer. Only 2 of 6 burners work. Thermador support is not responding to requests for help. Our biggest regret with building was selecting Thermador products. Providing 1 star feels like too much with the amount of issues we have had over the past two years.

I have owned a Thor Kitchen oven for just over two years. The knobs can melt because they are so cheap, the oven racks are awful and I have been waiting for a part since November 2020. Customer service is terrible. I will never buy Thor again.
