ChacoMen's Zcloud Sport Sandal

My girlfriend suggested I check Amazon for Chacos, not only did I find the ones I was looking for, they were at a great price as well!

Life changing, I never knew Chaco made sandals in a wide format for us with extra large feet. My feet are approximately 5" wide at most and my foot fits perfectly well on the foot pad, which is also right at 5" at the widest. I owned and completely wore out my original Z2's over the course of ~10 yrs, the straps finally busted somewhere inside footbed. Those originals were equipped with "Vibram" soles, hoping these live up to the challenge!

Comfortable

This is really a well-conceived and fabricated product. I believe it will have a long and useful life. The quality and construction are top-notch. I live in Hawaii, so sandals are almost always appropriate. I do not like the intrinsic instability of flip flops. These are well secured to the foot and are safe. Perhaps my foot is thick, but the length of the strap is an issue in that I have to go to the maximum extension to be able to get it on. The path of the strap is interesting. To tighten or loosen the strap one needs to adust at the buckle and one other point. No big deal as long as there is enough strap.

In my opinion, these things are way overhyped. I guess if you were a professional rafting guide that wore them an entire season, they might be worth the money, but for your average tourist rafter, there are lots of options that are more comfortable and less than half the price.

Probably one of my most comfortable footwear. I've worn them hiking in rain and sun, in mountains and on beaches, downtown, or in a park. Great investment! Some have pointed out some extra strap that may get in the way. I had my wife roll up a portion and put a few stitches in it to keep it in place (see pic). Works great!

Overall I'm pleased with these Chacos. I got my first pair in 2007, and finally decided to get a new pair and resole the old. The Z/Cloud was a little weird at first, mainly because I'm so used to the original footbed. It's great for city walking and for travel. I wore these on a month long trip in Asia and they held up well. My only complaint was that where my big toe sits, there was premature wear within a couple weeks, but it's so little I wouldn't even think to bother with a warranty repair. I highly doubt it would even be considered. Alas, they're an excellent pair of sandals as expected, and I think they'll last for years as my old pair did (fingers crossed).

I love Chaco's and have had several pair. The key to comfort and no blistering is proper adjustment. I have worn out several pair. I walk in them and, in the past when I was a runner, ran in them. The big disadvantage I have found with previous Chaco's is that they have terrible traction when the surface is wet. I haven't worn this pair yet when it has been wet.

Segundo par de sandalias. Excelente manufactura, ergonómica, excelente para actividades acuáticas.

Never going to look back , great for long walks . Will buy again

オリジナルZ1 のソールが死んだので、軽量なこいつを購入しました。履き心地は厚底な先代にくらべて特に疲れやすいとかもなかったんですが、くるぶしあたりにストラップのガサガサの縫い目があたるので濡れた状態でそこそこ歩いたりすると擦りむけてきてバンドエイドの世話になります。歩いてなんぼのアウトドアサンダルとしては問題ありです。先代は重いけども、そんなことはなかったので改善してほしいところ。あと、めっちゃ滑ります。磯やら沢には向いてません。
