Le CreusetSignature Copper Knob, Small

Medium size knob is slightly wider than the original, which crumbled when I took it out of a hot oven (after many repeated uses baking bread at 500 degrees). Measures 1-3/4 inch diameter, original was 1-5/8 inches. The rim is also slightly higher than the original. It fits perfectly on my oval Dutch oven, which is my preferred pot for making sourdough bread. Came with a screw (exactly the same as original.) More expensive than some non-brand stainless steel knobs, but I was concerned about the silicone pad (will it hold up to repeated trips to the hot oven?) and need for additional pieces for installation. I am hoping that the Le Creuset knob will last a long time along with the pot.

It's a knob, so there isn't much to say. It functions well and is oven safe.

Of course, they are stainless steel! So they will get hot, you’ll need oven mitt to handle the lid, but they make my Le Creuset pots look much more classic and most of all oven safe for baking bread at 450!

i put this on my missen pot becuz i have a pink le creuset with a gold knob and wanted them to match. havent cooked with is yet but fits perfect

Bought this to replace an original knob of a round casserole dish which gradually disintegrated over many many years of use. This metallic knob looks like it won't suffer the same problems of disintegrating over time as it's solid metal. Looks high quality and had no problems in a high temperature oven. It's expensive for what it is like all Le Creuset items but worth saving the casserole dish. I recommend this knob as a replacement as it is good quality and looks good. Fixing screw is short at about 1cm but that was perfect for the dish I had. Looks way better than the original black knob too.

I started baking bread in my dutch oven. The plastic handle wasn't suitable up to the temperatures needed so I had to swap for this. It does the job, but at the price I kinda feel like it should make me coffee in the morning

Great upgrade. I didn't realise that different Le Creuset knobs can only handle certain temperatures so ruined my previous handle. This new one is oven safe up to 230 degrees so will take anything I throw at it. Really easy to fit with the supplied screw, you just need a flat head screwdriver, I would suggest not over tightening it as you could crack the enamel. Its is a bit bigger than the original but that makes it easier to lift the lid with an oven glove on.

I got this (the 4 cm one) as a replacement on a large cast iron lid of different brand. It fitted perfectly and works rather well even though a larger one would have been the recommended size.

A perfect replacement for my 20+ year old black phenolic knob that shattered when I cropped my casserole lid onto a tiled floor. Looks very smart, survived the dishwasher intact but only downside is it gets hot.
