This is an excellent quality item!Its made of thick metal so it's heavy enough to not lift when pulling tissues out of a new box!I didn't leave mine as it came, I lightly sanded it down and covered with glitter spray paint (for my daughters room). I would choose this tissue box over any other I've ever bought! I have this in both cream & light gray, and the color is almost identical. Both shades are muted neutrals. The tissue box is pretty light, but sturdy enough that they don’t move around. The bottoms are metal, but it’s a round edge and we’ve had zero scratching on our dark furniture. I will be ordering a couple more for the kids room. They are basic looking, but well made and don’t feel cheap.

Excellent. I purchased these in three colors for two bathrooms and a nightstand. I'm so glad I did. They look neat and tidy and solved the problem I was having with tissue boxes not staying put. I can pull a tissue in the middle of the night, the box stays down nicely and doesn't pop up and knock everything else off my nightstand. Open bottom, easy to fill, simply excellent in every way. I like the fact that they are plain, if I get the urge to be creative I can embellish them myself.

Fine for the price and a plus that it is metal; not plastic. One star off for annoying LARGE sticker that I am reluctant to try and remove due to satin black finish that might scratch or worse leave that residue that removers might ruin. Obviously you can just turn that side towards the wall but still it’s very annoying.

I found this to be nice, serviceable and stylish. That being said, most of this style of tissue box are based on the square tissue boxes sold in stores over the years. However, lately tissue manufacturers have decided to downsize the square boxes, and those smaller boxes provide a less-than-optimum fit into this type of receptacle. A work-around (until these disappear too) is to buy the long large size boxes of tissue, usually available in grocery stores in certain brands that are roughly double the size of the old square tissue boxes. If you cut those crosswise down the center, you have a perfect fit for the decorative top (i.e. you have two pieces to use in two holders), and it can be refilled at any time by simple folding over a wad of tissues.

Honestly, do I want my tissue boxes to be covered with cartoon cars? Suddenly, that's the only design my local stores are selling. I wanted something more in line with the colors of my bathroom and living room, but this was the best solution. Nicely made, good weight metal, plenty large --. This has a slightly matte finish which makes it unobtrusive.Also, I no longer have to hunt through the supermarket shelf to find box colors matching my walls. This must save me several seconds every few weeks -- precious seconds I can spend reviewing this product.

This is the third one that I've purchased of this brand. I appreciate all the colors available, although green is not one of those colors; so, I had to purchase a green one from another vendor. It was much heavier and at a higher price. The mDesign tissue holders are metal, which translates to durability. They're not too heavy. I've had plastic ones previously. Unfortunately, some of them fell to the floor and cracked. With metal, that's not an issue. The tissue comes out of the mDesign holder easily and has a large enough slot on top. The bottom of the holder is open, which is my preference and which eliminates the need to open and close it. My husband loves these holders, as he says that otherwise, the cardboard tissue boxes sometimes break. The mDesign holder prevents that breakage.

Not really white. The listing says white. The label on it says white. It’s not white. It’s more of a beige or cream. See the picture next to one that is white.
