Expected a dark brown color as pictured, but this is a light brown (kind of a terra cotta color), but also an unexpected reddish hue. Followed all directions, hoped as it dried I'd get the expected result, but correct color never manifested. To utilize I would have to add black to this brown, but no way to measure amount to ensure matching on all portions of the items I need to paint.

The ordering of this product (this particular time)... It was just crap.. It ruined a bowl of wood stain I was creating.. It's color was flat, dull, the consistency was chunky and never smoothed out. Bad batch?Usually, this paint is super smooth, has a rich, nice color. That's why it is my favorite. This is the 5th or 6th bottle of DecoArt Coffee Bean that I've ordered.I will definitely buy again, just not from which ever seller supplied me with these two bottles.
