very cool...
I am one of those freaks, who cares about the air quality I breathe!I keep CO2 meters in my bedroom, and have outdoor ventilation to assure it does not exceed 600ppm. so this is a cool device for me...what I like... you can wear it on your neck... u know on an airplane if air gets toxic. The app screen is very nice, and the perfect marriage vs. trying to display on the device itself. My only mild complaint is, would like to see more detailed data on the type of toxins it measuring... spend more $, and you can get this in their next model up.poor air quality makes some of us feel like crap, this is a means to determine if you are in that air quality... if so, you can leave, wear a mask, etc.sync with app was seamless, temp and humidity seems accurate, 4.5 stars....

Useless
Inaccurate readings. This product is useless for AQI measurements.

Measure your air! Long battery life, easy to use!
This is one of the coolest products I've had the priviledge of testing! Not only did I get to test the quality of the air in my house; I tested my cars and family members houses too! This device is extremely easy to use and provides a guide along with VOC levels. It can also measure humidity and temperature. It comes with a little clip incase you wish to carry it around with you.I have not carried it around but i have brought it into several rooms of my house to test it out. It will fully adjust and normalize your values within about 1 minute. In the past months I was actually worried about the air quality in my house as my wife had some allergy attacks. After having 2 separate groups of people do tests on my house with completely polar opposite results; I'm glad that this device cleared the air (pun intended) on these problems! If you are worried about the air quality in your house; or you just want to measure and see how you are doing (or test your new purifier) then this is a great choice. I personally measured 3 different purifiers now to see how clean the air was that they were putting out. I found that this old purifier I had wasn't actually doing anything! If this review helped you at all; please mark it helpful! Thanks!

Good idea, questionable focus on VOCs.
If you’re concerned about air quality, the ATMO tube (plus) may be just the tool for you. With a battery life of about a week (between charges) it records VOCs (volatile organic compound), temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. VOCs may be most known from paints, (and the low-VOC advertisement). Ultimately it’s solvent part of chemicals like glue or paint. That is often discussed in connection with formaldehyde used is furniture (specifically MDF based designs). The ATMO tube does not differentiate between different types of VOCs and it’s unclear if the sensor is tuned for a few harmful ones or all that include a wide range of VOCs that are not harmful at all. The only one specifically mentioned is formaldehyde. However, we just got new furniture and I expected the meter to spike and it did not. The pieces were not overtly strong in smell to indicate high VOC, but still I was expecting a response beyond the seemingly 2 points. So it turns out that at least for VOCs I am in pretty good shape for now, although I doubt the analysis is comprehensive. The other parameters like barometric pressure seem less concerned with accuracy. For instance, it’s been sunny for 2 days and the app claimed it’s stormy out there. If it was reliable, it could be a portable indicator for possible weather changes on a hike, but for now I tend to not trust it. The ATMO tube measured 972 hPa (indicated as “stormy”) compared to my Accurite Atlas measuring 1012 hPa while also correctly showing “sunny”.The temperature and humidity are known factors for comfort level. It’s winter and while the ATMO tube set off an alarm claiming 29%RH, the Accurite Atlas once again disagreed with 37%RH. The difference is more than just typical tolerances and generally indicates concerns with the ATMO’s accuracy (and ultimately usefulness).Urban dweller may be less concerned with VOC than the increasingly focus on NOx and particulates. Especially cities with high traffic volume typically exceed recommended values, not just since the Diesel scandals shed light on it. The ATMO tube is blissfully ignorant of such measurements and claimed air quality may read high while being rather low due to parameters not measured.Overall, I am not sure whether I can recommend the ATMOtube to anyone other than folks that spend a lot of time indoors and have the option to make changes when elevated VOCs are detected. Beyond that, the inaccurate barometric pressure and humidity reduce the actual value to gadget level.

Not a fan of the company, look for alternatives.
When you look at the company’s product page you see happy people outside and even the device clipped to a backpack. Yet the item is meant for indoor air only apparently. I used mine outside and it is winter and cold here, and cold temps damage the sensor. I feel like this should is important information and should have warnings for the customer. I was getting 60ppm readings which made no sense. I contacted customer service and after a while they said it’s probably damaged due to the temperature. So now I have a 100$ paperweight.

Great little portable air quality unit
Bought version 1 but returned it because of a design flaw. It has been corrected on this one.Would like to see carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and PM 2.5. readings on version 3.
