Living in Phoenix, AZ, I have found this to be the most durable. Keeping in mind there are chlorine tablets sitting in to 24/7 and baking in over 110°f temperatures, this hold up well. I get about 18 months out of it which is 6 months longer than others. To expect more in the conditions this thing works is unreasonable. I’ve never had issues with it floating through it life cycle. The lid remains snug and operates normally. The top will fade and breakdown due to the sun exposure as you would expect in Phoenix. The bottom will eventually breakdown as again there are chlorine tablets in it 24/7. Overall I recommend this product and will continue to use knowing the extreme conditions it’s used.

So far it's worked great. I used to put my tablets in the skimmer. The tablets dissolve slower in this. I can put 5 tablets in and forget about it for a while. Lid locks on securely so you don't have to worry about it coming off.

Easy to use; functional. These things are all pretty much the same design for the same function. This one is built a little thicker, which is important because these plastic floaters tend to degrade pretty quickly in the hot Las Vegas sun no matter how much you spend on them. This one lasts a little longer.

Simple efficient chlorine dispenser a good value, not the cutesy pie character but what you need.

The summer Texas sun is brutal. As a result, my chlorine pool floaters seem to last about two years...maybe three. I'm hoping the UV protection adds a bit more life to this floater. In the meantime, I will enjoy the quality workmanship of this simple but durable pool floater.

I like that the tabs fit well in the dispenser. Some dispensers are narrow and if the tab does not fall into the container perfectly straight, there isn't room for additional tabs. There is plenty of room in this dispenser and it is easy to put the tabs in. Floats well, dispenses well, looks nice. The only negative I have is that the lid is a little tricky for me to remove - but that might just be me! I would buy again and recommend.

My last chlorine table float lasted a few years but recently started floating to the bottom of the pool. Had to purchase another one. I do a great deal of research before I purchase anything. I decided to try this float because the reviews were pretty good and I wanted something that would last. I received this in a very impressive package. It came in a sturdy box and the float itself seems to be sturdy and is pretty substantial. So far so good. Time will tell but I think it might last a little longer. I am keeping my fingers crossed. This chlorinator is excellent quality. I was sick of getting cheap low quality chlorine dispensers so I spent the extra money and got this one and I have no regrets. I may buy a second one. It reminds me of a professional grade product.
