Easy to program for my ancient Allister II garage opener (318)
I had purchased the Allstar (318) small remote and wasn’t able to program the buttons to accept the pin code, after 2 hours gave up. This one was sooo easy....simply matched up the DIP switches and done!

Works!
This unit is big and bulky but it works and is easy to program. The upside of the size is that it is hard to lose which is what happened to my old one.

Worked great for a while, and all of a sudden, stopped.
This is my second one. The first one worked great until a few weeks ago. It is easy to program, consistent for several months, and then completely stopped working. Replaced the battery, and still didn't work. So I got a new one.

Perfect Replacement For My Allister Remote
Even if you just want to ADD another garage door opener, this will work as long as you match the frequency of your transmitter and match the DIP Switch settings.I have an older Allister (AllStar) garage door opener, that has DIP Switches and transmits at a frequency of 318 mhz. When you're looking for a remote, your frequency number will be part of the Model Number. In my case, the model number was 9131T-318 (with 318 being the frequency #).When I got the remote, I matched the DIP Switch settings of the opener transmitter, added the battery and my new remote started working immediately. The whole operation took about 3 minutes. An easier way to do it is to match the DIP Switch settings of your old remote.

Great for those with older garage doors
This is for those old garage door remotes with the little pins inside. Super super easy to set up. Just match the pins in the other remote and off you go!!

Remote Control fits the 318Mhz and 312Mhz
This remote Control fits the 318Mhz and 312Mhz.Needs adjustment of the frequency that can be done by yourself with a screwdriver. It is 100% sure of the result, but it is a test-error process. The below message is the one I have used to fix the issue from another seller:We see that you are not having a range problem with the remote and wanted to see if it could be resolved as it sounds like it may still not be on the correct frequency for your system. If you are willing to try making the adjustment to the remote to have it work satisfactorily and if not we will still have you able to return it if it still does not work out.To make the adjustment it will require using a small jewelers screwdriver and removing the bottom and top portions of the case. The bottom will slide off and the top sections has to be eased upwards from both side and the top as it is held in place by two pins. We have included a photo for you showing the two pins at the top of the case and the blue tuning component with the tuning screw in the center.Once the case has been opened the screwdriver will be needed to slowly turn the tuner in very small increments (1 -2 degrees at a time) to the left or right to adjust the frequency. This is a trial and error way to set the frequency and test the remote after each adjustment for the range, that would either increase or decrease that would need to either be turned the same way or the other way depending on the result until the maximum range is obtained. Note that the screwdriver would have to be removed each time the remote is tested as metal interferes with the tuner.Even if you try this and are not satisfied with the results we will still allow you to return the remote.
