Had a bamboo area rug that was falling apart. Purchased a seagrass rug as a replacement. This rug is much quieter (when dogs walking on) than the bamboo and lays better on the floor (more flexible). Dog hair clean up hasn't been a problem. Latex backing works very well, no slipping. I didn't get a pad. Very happy with my purchase.

I love this rug
I love this rug. The color and design is just like the picture and you can't beat the price. It gives my room a modern feel and does not show pet fur or dirt. It does smell like sea grass for the first week or so, but the smell fades. Would definitely recommend.

so it's tough and durable - and looks great.
This rug is exactly what I wanted. It's not so rough that you can't walk on it barefoot. My cats dig their nails into it and there is no damage, so it's tough and durable - and looks great.

This is a good deal for the price
This is a good deal for the price. A little rough on the feet if you're barefoot, but I have pets so i dont walk barefoot much. So far there have already been a few spills and messes that cleaned up well.
