***UPDATE 8/18/25***So I’ve now had this for over a year, and under pretty heavy daily use I’m happy to report it still works as well as the day I bought it. Great product, and it’s a pleasure to use every day.***UPDATE 10/3/2024***So, after almost four months of pretty heavy daily use I just wanted to report back that this grinder continues to work perfectly and shows every sign of lasting for years to come. I especially like the glass jar so I can see when I’m running low on black peppercorns, and even though it’s got a small form factor it holds a lot so I don’t have to refill it frequently despite using it multiple times daily. I’m super happy with this product all around and recommend it highly!!!***PLEASE NOTE: This review is only for the more expensive version here with the all metal grinding mechanism and not the cheaper version that looks the same but has a ceramic grinder that’s also available on this page — hope this helps avoid potential confusion.Been using this for a few days now and am very happy so far. I’ve used a traditional wood pepper mill my whole life, but now it’s just me so I wanted something smaller and with a glass body so I can easily see when I need to add more peppercorns. I also wanted an all metal grinding mechanism (that this version has for an few dollars more) instead of ceramic, which doesn’t seem to hold up as well, and I definitely wanted no plastic parts involved in the actual grinding either — don’t need any more microplastics in my diet thank you. This one seemed to check all the boxes, and so far it’s been great. Initially it was set to a more fine, powdery grind, but it was super easy to adjust to a more course grind that I prefer and it’s perfect. Overall it seems well built and is very easy to use, and as long as this holds up it’s a definite keeper. I’ll report back if any future mishaps, but as of now I’d recommend this very highly!

I like that it is a metal grinder not ceramic. Seems to be good quality. Easy to remove lid and fill glass jar. Is easy to operate the grinder and set the coarseness. Fine grind is pretty much like your regular pre ground pepper maybe even a little finer. And the coarser setting I guess would be kinda like cracked black pepper not too horribly course. Does a good job with all the different pepper corns black, white, green, pink and rainbow It also does a good job with the Grains of Paradise Spice (Melegueta Pepper Ginny Grains Mbongo spice Hepper Pepper Guinea Pepper also known as alligator peppers). Which by the way really makes your eggs taste great.I bought 5 and they all worked great

I’ve been using the EBACO salt and pepper grinder set for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really happy with it! The design is sleek and modern—definitely a nice touch to my kitchen counter. A big plus!I love the adjustable ceramic rotor—it gives me good control over the coarseness of my spices. Whether I’m grinding fine pepper for a soup or a coarser salt for steaks, it works really well. It also holds a generous amount (about 3/4 cup), so I’m not constantly refilling, which is super convenient.The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the grind adjustment mechanism can be a bit finicky at times. It takes a little effort to get the setting just right, and occasionally it shifts while grinding. Not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of.Overall, it’s a great kitchen tool—functional, easy to refill, and looks great on the table. Would definitely recommend, especially at this price point. Makes a thoughtful gift too!

The battery ones I kept buying kept breaking so I finally bought this manual set and they work great. They look great on my dining room table.

This is a great size for the amount of white peppercorns I bought it for and it has adjustment to choose grinder size of the salt/peppercorn from fine to coarse. Really like that it’s stainless steel grinder mechanism which feels durable and like that it’s a glass container as opposed to plastic.

Excellent grinder. Nice capacity. Easy to adjust. Cap helps keep it clean. Hoping the grinding mechanism last longer than ceramic, will see. But in any event it’s still a very good value.

I knocked the first one I ordered off the counter this was a replascment. I like it was eazy to use and adjust the corseness.
