Well as an aspirant myself i will recommend this book to read just before starting any gs topic viz. economic development or modern history so that it will brush up your memory during advance study and also use this book for quick revision just before prelims and mains examination. Simple and lucid written in the format of original ncert, covers each and every portion of the gs sectionalwise in 5 books.Very fast delivery and properly packed.

WORTH IT..
The media could not be loaded. Book is fantastic and it's good for basic to moderate level knowledge. You get everything in this book except very very deep knowledge.. like as M lakshmikant.

Although good but has too many spelling mistakes.
The media could not be loaded. This CRUX of NCERT is good with to the point topics and details but it has got too many mistakes which irritates one. I found dates to mentioned different, making these books useless!

Not helpful
the gist is not upto the point, very tricky words used to describe the content and it makes it hard to understand it. i would suggest go for the actual ncert rather than crux
