Excellent reference material and well written
Kostos wrote two books, and that's very objective, but not at all dry. They'll keep you intregued as you learn about a martial art that's very close to extinct, but massively powerful.

I love authors that lead you back to the divinity within
This book was very practical and informative. He builds you up so that you can go within to find your own answers. You could tell that he was very cautious as to not veil to much to those that would misuse the information. He empathized and throughly encouraged meditation, which to me is acknowledging the power that is within. I love authors that lead you back to the divinity within. Some people were upset with the homage he paid to the the Minoans, the ancient Greeks, If your not looking for spirituality, nor self awareness you could miss the entire point of what Nei Kung was trying to do. Nei Kung utilizes basic Qigong/Chi Kung and meditation technique to attain physical strength and spiritual awareness. Enjoyed the entire book from the history to the idealistic perspectives of changing the world through changes yourself. Love it and would recommend it to all who strive towards a greater truth.

Beyond Words Must Read
By the first few pages, it was already as if the book was talking directly to me. I want to shake the author's hand and look him in his eye to thank him directly. The descriptions of internal energy, helical flow, and vivid descriptions are a perfect cohesion of science and spirituality. There are many pieces of the greater puzzle in this book. Highly recommended. Thank you Kosta and thank you Sifu John Chang.

One of its kind
Amonst so many books on Nei(inner) Kung & external Kung, this book perhaps is only one I saw in my entire lifethat has scientific explanations/definitions/observationson Chi, Kung, etc. Many practitioners do not have author's keen scientific eyes/attitude on this subject. This may not be the best text to learn it,but certainly very informing oneand I don't think we can get anything like this in the marketfor very long time to come.Hope he come up with 3rd book soon.J. interesting read
an interesting look into a secretive form of chi training by an author who is well read in philosophy and apparently physics. While this ( book)is interesting , it is simply a tease because while the information tells of human potential- you as the reader will not be given any useful way to develop these potentials( iguess this is where the secrecy comes in). Better to research others who advertise a genuine training regime that match up with their claims of wanting to assist humans in their evolution.

Not that great
If you are trying to get more information on Mo Pai after reading the Magus of Java, you will probably be disappointed with this book. The author talks a lot about his own theories, but doesn't deliver on clarifying the Mo Pai system, which most people are probably looking for. I think Mo Pai is absolutely fascinating, and this authors book The Magus of Java is fascinating, but this book was a letdown after reading the Magus of Java.
