PHILIP BRejuvenating Oil 16 oz. (480 ml) | Long-Term Hair Repair, Youthful Bounce, Strength and Shine

This rejuvenating oil worked wonders on my hair (long, fine, and in generally good shape but is worked hard with a body wave, highlights and color, and blown dry or otherwise heat-styled almost every day)! I recently had a body wave put in my hair and it was a little worse for wear afterwards (dry, ends where a little bit fried, etc.).I have a repairing shampoo and conditioner (not Philip B) that I like very much and that have always worked well for me, but I wanted to give the repair work a little boost, given the extra stress of the body wave. I've always heard great things about Philip B products, so I decided to give this oil a try.I used it on my hair about a week and a half or so after I had the body wave done. Philip B has some great instructional videos on YouTube and excellent instructions/tips on their website (FYI they say to use this up to the day before you have your color done and no sooner the 4-5 days following a color treatment). I read the tips they posted on how to use this oil and followed their instructions exactly. I put the oil on my dry hair until it reached the saturation point (I went all the way to the scalp with the oil), then added some heat via the hair dryer for just a few minutes, let it sit for approximately 45 minutes, got in the shower and added shampoo throughout my hair, then added water and lathered (rinse and repeat).I'd say that even just using it one time so far, the damage from the body wave has been almost completely resolved! Afterwards my hair was very soft (all the dryness and frizzy ends were gone), had great volume, and was extremely manageable without being weighed down at all (had none of the post-oil, droopy feeling I've gotten with other products). Also, this oil smells great!This oil has now become a permanent and regular part of my hair care regimen and I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who needs a repair boost and would highly recommend it for those who color or otherwise process their hair. But do check out the tips/instructions and maybe the videos on how to use these products as following the proper procedure seems to be key to getting a really great result.

So, I had just gone from really light blonde to very dark chocolate. My hair was extremely dry, frizzy split ends, and even had some breakage. Needless to say, I was freaking out! After applying this to dry hair, leaving on all night, and shampooing it out in the morning, it was like I had a whole new head of hair! Instead of brittle, dull, and lifeless, my hair was shiny, soft, bouncy and NO frizz!!!! I now use this religiously a few times a week and every time I have the same results. Even though it's a pretty small bottle, it surprisingly goes a long way, and you don't actually need to SATURATE the hair completely to get good results. Sometimes, I'll even work a little into my hair while I'm running errands just to freshen it up when I wash it later on for an evening out. Cannot recommend this enough--I've tried SO many deep conditioners out there. The only one that comes close is Kerstase Oleo-Relax which is great too, but I think this is better, and the Kerastase is over $50!!! I am recommending it to everyone and will be a loyal customer of this product for a LONG time to come!

Never got to try it. :( working with Amazon with police report. Hoping they can help as I decide to spurge on the shampoo, conditioner and hair oil treatment. I was looking EVERYWHERE for a very peppermint shower products and this seems to fit perfectly what I was looking for. Is it pricey? Yes but I figured each item considering the size I’m ordering should last me a good 6 months so divided that out is not that bad. Plus my hair has been thinning out a lot the last few years so figured maybe something higher end plus refreshing peppermint would help. Sigh.

I lost a lot of my hair porosity after a perm many years ago. Since then, the perm grew out and my hair has been all virgin for the longest but still loses its moisture very fast, becomes dry and brittle and can just break off. I am honestly shocked at how this product restores my porosity, causing my hair to remain as soft as cotton and beautiful to the touch, and by keeping it so moist and soft, protects it from becoming crispy and breaking off completely. I purchased one for my mom and ordered another for myself. Believe it or not it is even MORE expensive in the stores. Listen, I admit that almost $20 for a tiny bottle of oil is really steep. But I don't know of another product that performs like this one. A lot of oils slide down the scalp and hair shaft and end up on the neck! This one actually penetrates the hair shaft and is very light. So I just try to use it sparingly. Try it and if you stumble on something comparable for less, please let me know!!!

For reference, my hair is a bit dry but my scalp leans toward the oily side. The first time I used this I followed the directions and applied it a couple of inches from my scalp. It was a disaster. But I decided to try again and just apply it to the bottom 1/2 of my hair (9-10 inches) which is the dry part anyway and it was like magic. When it dried it was much softer and felt much healthier.

My hair is naturally curly/wavy and frizzy. I’ve recently colored my hair but before that, I maybe used heat on it once every three months but for some reason it was still more tangly than normal. I’ve been on a mission to find whether it’s water, what I’m putting in my body, what I’m putting on my hair, or all three. However, this was not the answer. I’ve tried to put it in before I go to bed then wash it out, I’ve tried heat on it after I add it, I’ve put it on after I shower while wet or dry but it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference. I don’t think the smell is as strong as some people say but to each their own! I’ll be sure to update if somehow I notice a difference. But for the price point and many positive reviews, I had higher hopes.

Buy it or not. I did. I use it. I see a difference. So many products are false advertising. This does what it says. My hair is happy. A product that actually works...go figure =)
