These are the most reliable bed sheet grippers available. Owning a pillow-top king size mattress, even deep-pocket fitted sheets are not deep enough. I was tired of a bunched up sheet beneath my back at night. The number of grips out there make it difficult to choose. I narrowed down my selection based on the following: 1. adjustability (I do not care for the shorter straps that are limited to the corner areas of sheet. I was looking for long straps that either criss-cross of run from side-to-side) 2. Type of clasp (Though the "clamp" type of grip seems to be most common, the sheet WILL slide out of it. Eventually. Even if there are 'teeth' within the clamp. The tab on these grips stay put until removed) 3. Material (No plastic parts, please. Plastic breaks, eventually. Always does.)Installation was simpler than expected. I did NOT have to flip my mattress. Attach at top corners, then slide all that remains loose over annd under the top of the mattress. I was able to slide my arm beneath the mattress and pull the straps toward the bottom...bit by bit. I did have to lift the mattress up at the corners only to ensure a snug fit. After attaching to lower corners, pull tightly to adjust. Voila!! I have since washed my fitted sheet, simply unclasping the grips. That's all. Everything remains in place beneath the mattress. Reatttach grips when fitted sheet is replaced.If I had to complain about something, it would be this: I wish this company made one long strap to attache from side-to side. The criss-cross mechanism holds sheet taut, but there is still a bit of riding up on the sides. Nothing to do about that. These grips perform as advertised and appear as advertised. Thank you for a stellar (and reasonably priced!!) item. I will certainly purchase for my other mattresses and even as stocking stuffers in December!
