The Disneyland Book of Lists

I love lists. I love making them, I love pretending they are the only thing holding my life together, my entire life resolves around lists. Also, at the moment I'm hyper-focused on all things Disney. As a lifelong fan of lists & Disney, this book has the best of all worlds. It does fall under the nonfiction trope (?) of pulling completely random and seemingly unrelated facts together for certain lists to fill space, but as a fan of random facts- I don't mind at all. Great book.

I know this has been getting super reviews but lets be honest. It's a book of lists. Now if you like lists that is great, otherwise take this book in small chunks otherwise you will find yourself jumping ahead. Also a lot of it is opinion and I believe he says that so don't take everything as absolute truth. There are also things missing out of the lists which the author or people who helped him didn't know about which goes with the comment I made before about opinions. Get this book for it is a good little book and worth reading especially if you plan to visit the park and look for items in the book that are listed.

A great book if you've been to Disneyland at least once, like me. I bought it after my trip on a whim, to have on hand as a time-filler, and slowly became very impressed with the contents and the author. The title doesn't begin to describe the amazing treasure of historical information and technical details about The Happiest Place on Earth and its attractions. Chris Stodder obviously enjoys doing research. He shows great imagination, amazing powers of observation and a sly sense of humor in his organization of zillions of Disneyland-related facts. Keep this book in the car and you'll start looking forward to getting stuck in traffic. You'll also want to head back to Disneyland. Thanks, Chris!

Great, fun book to read! Different approach to Disneyland. I have read many books about Disneyland, but this one took a different approach that I enjoyed very much. It took some things I already knew about Disneyland (and many more I didn't know!) and cataloged the different parts of the "happiest place on earth" into lists. These lists, in turn, give you a different, refreshing perspective on the park. I also like that you can pick up the book and start reading from any page and find an interesting list - you don't have to read from front to back for sure!

This is a fun book to read. It tells you everything you want to know about Disneyland and it is done with humor so it is never boring. The author is obviously extremely familiar with the subject matter which is Disneyland. The book gives facts that are very interesting which only a student of the park for years would ever know. Well written, with good humor throughout. It is a timeless book worth keeping for your kids kids. I liked it a lot.

So much fun information in this book. Just fun to have. No need to read from front to back. You can open it to any page and look at something fun and informative. Great to read before a trip to Disneyland. Or fun to discuss with other Disneyland fans to see if you agree with some of the lists. Recommend it for any Disneyland fan.

We had a lot of fun reading this on our road trip to Disneyland. We have other books that are similar. So although some things we already knew, there were lots of things we didn't!

I do a lot of Disneyland research and use Chris' previous book a lot. I was very excited to hear about this book and bought it the day it came out. I really could have used this book a couple months ago. It is a great source of Disneyland history. It has already provided some great information and insight for me. I bought both the physical book and Kindle version. The Kindle version is great for quick look-ups and searches.

Cute and quirky take on a traditional Disneyland book. I really love reading about Disney but many of the books are the same - either the history of the parks or 'secrets'. This included random information that myself (as a true Disneyland fan) found to be amazing!
