Item is not as pictured.
They are shipping the "grip-rite" version, which has larger grip handles on either side, and is NOT the product that is pictured. I specifically needed the small handles so that the dish would fit into a square water bath that I use. There is another listing for the grip-rite versionĀ Pyrex Grip-Rite 8-Inch Square Baking Dish, Clear , which is what I received, for $4 less than this listing. Very disappointing.

The Originals are the BEST
For me, there is nothing like original glass Pyrex. I would have LOVED to have BLUE, like the one I broke and had to replace, but when I couldn't find blue, I chose clear. I didn't buy as a "cake pan" but as a "casserole dish". There is just nothing like cooking a casserole in a Pyrex dish. Especially at Thanksgiving!

Holding up well
I've been using this for seven years. I have zero complaints. This item is high quality and I recommend it. But frankly the ones that come with the blue plastic lids are way more handy. They save on plastic wrap.

Great, strong glass. Pyrex is the BEST type of glass you can get. Great for baking or science projects! It won't crack like most cheap "foreign" glass.

NOT the item pictured
The item pictured has small handles, which was what I wanted in order to replace an older pan that had broken, but for which I still have the plastic airtight lid. The item which ARRIVED is the oversize handle version, which does not fit with my lid. Now I have to return the item and find an appropriate replacement....again. Please update your picture of the item!!!

This glass Pyrex piece is a great, great pan to bake with, especially if you have metal allergies like I do.

NOT as pictured
The photo shows a square Pyrex dish with small handles, which is why I bought this product. I was looking to replace an old dish for which I already had a lid. Needless to say, it came and the lid didn't fit. The handles are much larger (comfort grip, I suppose) so I sent it back. I'll have to purchase from another vendor. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PHOTOS!

An essential dish for every kitchen
I have only GOOD things to say about this baking dish. I bought one for myself when I got my first apartment. Five years later, and it still looks brand new and I use it all the time. In fact, I had to buy a second one (in blue this time) because I use this so much!This dish is a good size for making meals for one or two people, as well as side dishes for more, or brownies, etc. It fits nicely in the fridge or freezer for storage, in the microwave for easy reheating, and in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The handles are good sized for easy gripping and looks perfectly at home on a side buffet table at holidays.For the price, you can't beat this purchase. It is worth so much more than what you will actually spend.
