A great projector for when you don't have a plug
As the other reviewers have said, this is a great product. I have no differences with what the other positive reviewers have said, but I do use this device differently than most other people do. I'll try to focus on what I've learned that isn't in the other reviews I've read.I have two primary uses for this device. One is as a projector for charts and short videos, and the second is to show attention-getting videos at exhibitions.I teach classes in locations with no wall power, often outdoors. My classes are fairly small, usually less that 15 people, so I don't need a huge image. I use the projector on a 60" 16:9 screen. The projector works great after sunset or in a fairly dim or dark room. The image is all but invisible in sunlight, even on heavily overcast days or in the shade. I don't see that as a knock on this projector as I didn't expect the PicoAir to work in daylight. I say this to point out that while this projector does seem brighter than the rated lumens would have you believe, there's nothing magical about this projector's ability to be used in bright situations because it's laser based. I don't include it in my plans unless I know the location will be dim enough. After dusk or in a darkened room, the 60" projection seems as bright as a TV. Unless it's really dark, I doubt I'd ever try to project an image larger than 60" to a group. My second use is to use the projector to show attention-getting videos at exhibitions. For this purpose, I'm usually in a brighter room, but I'm only projecting a 20" diagonal image. I've found it to be quite viewable under those conditions, and it suits my purpose very well. Once again, I don't always have wall power available so the internal battery makes this use of the projector possible. My only disappointment so far has been that I haven't found an external battery that it can run off of to extend its projection time. I consistently have gotten 2 1/2 hours of projection time off the internal battery, but sometimes I need it to last longer than that. I've hooked it up to two different external battery packs rated at 5V/2.4A, but it still draws down the internal battery when it's plugged into the external battery and it doesn't extend the projection time. I've used a Y cable to connect it to two batteries at once, and it still draws down the internal battery. If anyone has found a battery that it will run off of without drawing down the internal battery, that'd be very helpful to know. As it is, my workaround is to be very careful to turn off the device whenever I can, even for 5 minutes, so that it can partially recharge from the external battery before I turn it on again. It does recharge off the external battery when the projector is turned off.I use an external bluetooth speaker for sound. The internal speaker is really only good for personal use or very small groups. One other feature which I hadn't considered before purchasing the projector but which I've loved is that it's always in focus. Sometimes my projection surfaces aren't flat, or they move a bit in a breeze, but it doesn't matter because the entire image is always in focus.Even with the "fault" of not being able to run it off an external battery pack, it's a presentation tool that's earned its place in my took kit.

The next great thing!
see commercial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRbBZyGScu8I ordered my PicoAir (with Microvision PicoP inside) last Wed 4/1 with Prime one day shipping and received it promptly the next day. Nice packaging, secure contents, arrived in great condition. Opened it up and turned it on, the 4 small LED's indicated a full charge right out of the box. Set my Samsung phone to Screen Mirroring and connected to the PicoAir in seconds, I was projecting on the wall of my room in less than 1 minute out of the box.I was astonished by the color, brightness and clarity of the focus-free picture on a white wall or ceiling, even with the wall texture that seemed to disappear behind the picture. The picture on my glossy dark brown ceiling was even decent enough to watch netflix for an hour before going to sleep ( I will be repainting my ceiling a matte white). At a 1:1 projection, the screen was just over 6' across when projecting from my bed to the ceiling. What a comfortable way to watch TV instead of a cramped neck trying to watch my wall mounted screen. I bought this device instead of a new 50" flat screen, this was much cheaper and way more versatile. I find different ways to use it at work every day, sharing digital content in meetings and conversations, people are always amazed, always say "what is it? I must have one!"The speaker is sufficient for viewing media but leaves a little to be desired for an audiophile, I plug the 1/8" jack into my battery powered ihome and have a portable cinema with good sound on the bed or on the go. Also plug into my mixer in the living room for studio quality sound while watching movies with a 7'-8' projection on the wall. My kids watched movies for two hours saturday night on their bedroom ceiling, they love it.For summer, I'm going to paint a piece of plywood white and put it outside for outdoor movie nights.Unit came with a protective bag, versatile little stand with rotating head (i put adhesive backed velcro on it and mounted it to my ihome), and a microUSB wall charger. Works with all microUSB at 5V/2A so you'll always be charged up. Gives you plenty of charge for a full length movie.

Cool device but no way ready for prime time.
1 I expected it to be a bit brighter. Not in the descrption only 32 Lumen. And perceptually laser is brighter than LED so maybe 45 lumen... but still needs real darkness.2 Maybe I just got a bad one, but the audio is pathetic even at full volume. Pretty much requires you be wire tethered to the thing, or a powered ext speaker.3 The DLNA connection is half assed and requires an ad hoc WiFi connection. So you loose all other wIfI functionality while using it. VS like my DLNA dongle for my TV that signs onto my WiFi network and is accessable to any device on it, and that device still has full WiFi access as well4 Also has this Select button that serves absolutely no purpose but just to be confusing.... Maybe for something down the road.5 Both Miracast and DLNA stream connections are rather hit and miss often taking more than one try.Seems like this product was really rushed to market before it was reall fleshed out.A Cool idea very badly implemented.
