It tore apart in minutes. The black brush tip is what most jobs will take. If you push too hard they fold down and become nasty with junk. I like this devise though because of the reservoir holds enough to do some work around the house. It is big and clumsy to wheel around the house. Hose and Cord do not store easily. I have a big box that I keep it in with all the parts... just use it every week or so to get the grime that builds up on everthing. It is noisy, but no big deal... takes a while to heat up but then it is a great steady stream of steam. Review: Great On Carpet - Purchased this machine based on recommendation on others. Does a great job cleaning carpet that looks brand new. Although, within a few weeks of purchasing the machine a part was broken and the company replaced it. The replaced part arrived in a short time and I was able to enjoy the pleasure of this wonderful machine. To my dissapointment, the main nozzle recently broke and I am certainly going to contact the company to see if they can offer a replacement. I do hope that the company will be generous in offering a replacement since the machine is less than a year old. I truly love this machine for steaming but it appears that plastic parts are not very sturdy and break very easily.
