Groz 34518 36" Indestructible Sledge Hammer, 10 lb

I have been splitting wood by hand for 17 years and use a sledgehammer a lot. I'm 62 years old and weigh 150 pounds. Over those years I have broken a lot of Wooden handles at $20 a piece. I finally decided to try one of these indestructible handles and I wish I would have bought one of these from the very beginning. The wooden handles really hurt my hands a lot and this handle is just a dream. I don't even have to wear gloves. This handle does not jar my hands at all. I usually balk at high priced tools but whenever I decide to buy the high priced ones I never regrett it. I would have saved money had I bought this from the very beginning. 10-9-15: today I just had my first miss where my handle hit the wedge. Three things happened: it felt like a normal strike, it didn't hurt my hands at all, it did absolutely nothing to the handle. I don't know how they engineered this hammer but they did a fantastic job!!!!
