Very handy! I love that the cover can flip back all the way, that is hard to find. I wish the outside of the clipboard were smoother because I would like to be able to use that as a writing surface sometimes.It was convenient while working on my thesis, and other school projects - I could edit on the bus, and then when my stop came (somehow it is a surprise every time), I can instantaneously flip the clipboard closed, and stuff it in my bag without damaging the paper. I had first tried a metal clipboard that folds in half, a model that is popular for nurses, but when I was writing on a thick document it wouldn't fold so well. Also, the metal was a little heavier than this, and very cold when used on the bus in the winter! This material is less sturdy longterm (I would imagine), but it is more comfortable for my uses.

Absolutely love this clipboard. I use it for work and the cover keeps patient information concealed when going from room to room. The clip is heavy duty and so far I've had no distortion in the board whatsoever. I would buy this again.

I was looking for just a landscape clipboard when I found this design. The cover is perfect! I can leave my notes on it and not have to worry about the sheets getting folded. The cover flips completely open giving a nice sturdy surface to write on, though it does have a bit of give to it that you may need to get used to. The only downside that I can see is the cardboard edges are exposed so make sure to never spill anything on or around it.

It's not as sturdy as a plastic or metal clipboard, but sturdy enough to write on it, especially if you flip the lid back so you double the thickness of the pad. Also works great to keep your papers from crumpling in a soft bag. I like the light color, I had a similar folder in black and it was hard to see it inside the bag.

I purchased the horizontal-white2 variety. Was a little worried since a review mentioned a broken corner. The thickness is comparable to the cover of a hard-cover bullet journal so seems no sturdiness issue. Feels good quality on touch. Would recommend!

I use this daily for my work. I can jot a note on a client file and then cover it for discretion. Its light weight, effective, and understated in appearance. Easy to hold, to carry in a bag, and useful for its intended purpose. Love it.

The first one I received had the notebook clip installed in reverse??? Returned and replaced in 2 days and it's been holding up well at work. Just check it right when you receive it. Someone was asleep in quality control. I'm glad I bought it from Amazon.

This is great for use taking attendance. I am able to close up the clipboard and protect all the sheets under the clip. It will hold 15 sheets maybe inside the clip and under the cover
