These are absolute perfection when it comes to motion sensing!
I added some photos off a project I am working on currently where I am using a mechanical Trigger switch to trigger 12v DC lighting inside a gun safe. This PIR Sensor is also wired up in the safe so that if I leave the door open for extended periods of time I dont just run the battery pack down in one day or whatever.I found the PIR Sensor to be very easy to manage. I didnt like the origianl configuration where it triggered light on, turned the light off and then triggered light on agian. This was fixable by moving the jumper. When I moved the yellow jumper, it triggered the light on, then continually triggered while I was in front of it extending the ON time. When I was gone from the room, the PIR Sensor would count down and turn off.The Pots were accurate and precise, I tuned mine in using a stopwatch to exactly 60 seconds. Exactly where I want it.I tested it all day long as well. I have thte sensitivity set to exactly in the middle about half way. the flat side is facing exactly down away from the breadboard. The sensitivity is good enough to pick me up from 10 feet away and is very sensitive, but at the same time I used it all day long and never got a single false positive. It never kicked on once when it shouldnt have. This is important because I dont want it wearing out my batteries without nobody around. So I like this position. its right where I want it.IMPORTANT NOTES!My input voltage on the PIR Sensor is 12v DC, but the output trigger voltage from the PIR Sensor is only 3.3v DC. This means you will need either a 3v DC Relay, or a 2N2222 Transistor to step the voltage up 4 times. I went with the relay personally. I also found them on Amazon. Keep that in mind if you get this for your project. Also, at 12v DC, the PIR Sensor only consumes 13.5milliamps running untriggered and 12.5milliamps triggered. These are very well made PIR Sensors. I will be a return customer! You guys know too you can use a diode in series to clip the voltage down to 3v if you need to.

Fixes all the problems of the larger motion sensors
These fix all of the problems the larger motion sensor have. Wireless signals do not cause false positives like they do with other motion sensors. I'm using these attached to esp8266 boards and have had no problems. I will definitely be ordering more!

Work well with ESP8266
Work well with esp8266 boards where other PIR sensors don’t. I wish I knew about these earlier.

Application is limited
It works, there is nothing wrong with it. The only problem for me was the lack of configurations, in particular, duration before shut off. There are other options for the same money that have pots to change sensitivity and duration, which also can be modded to run from 3V.

Works great, fantastic price
Works is the scribe nerves planning of program to do with the raspberry pi, I’ve been able to use them in multiple situations I’m gonna have to order them again great for the price

Exactly as described
Works exactly as described. Easy to setup with an Arduino Uno to detect motion. Plan to use this Halloween to help trigger items in the yard.

Buy Multiples
They're small and they appear to work pretty well when they work. I ordered two. One works fine and the other arrived dead. They're good out to 10 or so feet.

Five Stars
Used for an Arduino project. Work exactly as described, and perfectly for my needs.

Cheap and worked almost out of the box
Bought these to repair a outdoor security light where the PIR had failed. Slightly different pattern but as an engineer I rebuilt the board and the repaired item worked perfectly first time. These PIR modules have a very low working voltage (which was needed because the original device was powered from a Lithium cell) and carry their own interface on a tiny pcb. I've now got a spare as there are two in the package so each one only works out at £3.14. The 2.3 second delay for turning on and off is perfect for a security situation and the quiescent current is so low I I couldn't measure it. They are also very sensitive, picking up even slight temperature differences moving across the ambient background and have a wide angle capture that seems greater than 90 deg.

Works great!
ESPHome user here, love those and how you can personalize the trigger delay. You just gotta be careful about installing them at least 3-5 inches away from your ESP to avoid false-detections from static/parasite signals.

Perfect for 3V boards!
I used these with my ESP-01S boards after I realized my other PIR boards needed 5V and I didn't want to add a second power source; they worked flawlessly! I would buy again!
