Suprisingly bright for only 3 watts
3 watt DAYLIGHT LED bulbs!None of the bulbs worked on my 12 volt system when I received them. There are stickers indicating 12 volt, but the side of the box says AC 185-265V. I put one in an AC 110 volt socket and it instantly fried.I learned the bulbs were not touching the center contact in the sockets of my 12 volt system. I bent the center contacts up and the bulbs work. They are powered by a 12 volt lawn mower battery hooked to a Harbor Freight solar charging kit. They provide just enough light in my large shed to look for stuff after dark without having to use a flashlight.I have a very small 12 volt LED light that can be seen on the top right in photo of bulbs lit, that stays powered 24/7. It provides just enough light to enter shed and plug in the bigger bulbs. The bulbs are very compact, smaller than a regular 110 volt LED bulb. Very pleased with them now that I got them working!

Great for RV's
We have an RV and didn't like any of the (very limited) choices of 12v pendant lights available in the RV community, so I installed standard 120v household pendant lights in our kitchen, and wired the lights to the existing 12v wires in the ceiling. Many folks don't realize you can do this, but you can...you just have to use 12v bulbs instead of the 120v bulbs. I put these bulbs in the pendants. They are really bright and the "warm white" version gives a nice color. We've been using these bulbs for last several months and have no complaints.

Bright as described
Cannot rate the longevity but will surely upgrade my review. It is what it was described. Hard to find daylight, 7w, 12v in this 3 categories. I have it installed on the backyard connected to one of those cheap Chinese made photocell, lighting my gazebo every night. With my recycled car batteries, HF solar controller, and 2 50w solar panel. On my calculations, the setup can handle at least 10w at 50% but this 7w is bright enough to light my backyard nightly.UPDATE: I just installed one of them and just after 3 weeks, it failed, it's like the inside got loose and turned dim. I just messaged the seller, and need to hear their reply.UPDATE: This is what customer service is all about. They SELLER responded immediately, and agreed to replace the bulbs. "Customer’s satisfaction is so important to us" it says on the message and indeed it is.

Emergency lighting
Being an Ham Radio operator, I use these in a lamp that is battery operated for Emergency Communications because of the very low current draw, also I made up a rig for when the power goes out in Winter time, I take the 110 volt bulb out of the room Lamp put in the 12 volt bulb and bring in the 12 volt Deep Cycle battery and plug the lamp into the outlet box on the battery. Great for a light on High wind days with no Commercial power!

Functional for Low Voltage Post Lamp *Updated
**Update**So in under a year, both of these bulbs have burned out. I don't know if they're not meant for exterior use, but being LED they definitely shouldn't have died even with nightly use. It wasn't exposed to the elements or anything, it was in an enclosure that kept it dry, so I'm assuming the issue was extreme temperatures. The first one died in winter and the most recent one died in summer. I'm in a place that experiences all four seasons, so none are at the extremes, so I would guess if you do live in one of those places, this may not be the best choice.I had been working on replacing a rusted out old gas lamp post, but wanted to keep it simple and DIY. I found that using a standard electric lamp post fixture with these bulbs powered by any decent low voltage transformer for landscape lighting worked perfectly. I replaced that along with my solar pathway lights with a low voltage system and it works great. My only complaint is that the bulb is blocked off on the lower half like many LED bulbs and it looks a little strange in a fixture visible all around.

Converted an old garage light into landscape lighting
I had a pair of old outdoor sconces - the kind that go on either side of a door or next to a garage door. I didnt want to just toss them since they were nice. At the same time, we've been doing a ton of work in our garden - really building it out and making it look nice. But we could really use a bit more light in the evenings.I did some research an found these bulbs - they can be powered by a typical low voltage landscape lighting transformer!!!So I cleaned up the sconces, installed them in our garden, ran some landscape lighting wire to them (and the good thing about landscape lighting wire - there is no guessing on which wire to hook up, and waited for the evening.I was initially concerned given the size of the bulb that they might be dimmer than a normal 120V led bulb. But at night time, I went to the garden - and heck yea!!! These bulbs are just as bright as the lights by my front door! I love them. There was nothing else i needed to do - they just worked.Time will tell how long they last - but I got a 6 pack, so I have some backups if I need them. But if you are looking to add some different lights to your landscape lighting - these are the way to go!

One didn't last long, but great service in replacing. (Edit - sorry, but don't last very long)
One of the two only lasted 2 1/2 months, but when I contacted the seller, it was promptly replaced with another set of 2. Hopefully this was just a one-time occurrence and we'll have many years of use from them.9/26/21 - unfortunately the 2nd bulb went shortly after writing this review. Put in our 'extra' that was received with the original replacement. Now one of the replacements has now gone a few short months later.

Excellent bulbs...no comparison to the old ones we had.
Had some old 12v bulbs in our cabin and figured we needed new ones put these new ones in and OMG no comparison. These bulbs are fantastic.

Great
Used for low voltage light in closet controlled by a small 12 volt motion sensor. I used 18/2 cable surfaced mount on drywall which is better than thick line voltage bx cable or emt. Also mounted dc supply in basement below

Easy to adapt
My plan is replace the lamp bulbs and run 12 volt wires with an old extension cord ends on it when the power goes out.

Garbage don't watse your money
Both bulbs "popped" / blew as soon as I turned the lamp on. Cheap garbage don't watse your money or time. My regular bulb worked. These should be taken off this site. No stars for this product but I HAD to give it one star to write this review
