Tiger Days: A Book of Feelings

A Family Favorite!
This book has been so useful for our kiddos (2 & 6yrs old). It covers a wide range of emotions (sadness, joy, hyper, rage, shy, etc.). The pages are THICK—really high quality, so even our toddler can flip through the pages without us worrying about them tearing. Really cute illustrations. The rhymes are sweet too. But obviously, the best part about this book is it’s helping our kiddos be able to identify their emotions and work through them. All around: I’m really glad we got this book! It’s quickly becoming one of our favorites.

Excellent!
This book is a very well written and accessible book of feelings for children. I'm a teacher in the primary grades and bought it for my almost 5 year old nephew. He loves it and immediately started connecting to the book telling me what kind of animal he felt like that day. In his words, "I love that book. It's great." In my opinion, this is most appropriate for the elementary level. Definitely would purchase again as a gift.

Meh
This is cute but it doesn’t attach any feelings to the description, just an animal. I want to teach my son about feelings and their names, not animals. Wasn’t what I was expecting. I would skip this is you’re trying to raise emotionally intelligent children

Book on emotions using animals, cute
My child loves this book as does my husband. It incorporates animals and emotions at the same time. Helps articulate feelings. The quality of the paper is also good- the cover even has a little flocking on the tiger. Highly recommend.

Helpful to all ages
The book is very colorful but the examples they give with each animal are very appropriate. In these days, it can be a fun and helpful book. I read it myself everyday and I’m 80 years old. It calms me.

gives a child a voice
i have given this book as a gift to a family with 4 children & i am planning on purchasing at least 2 more because i love the concept - it allows a child to express how they are feeling in a creative way - it gives each one a voice - i wish there were more pages with more animals and more feelings but a parent or caregiver can encourage a child to think of other feelings and animals to expand the idea and broaden the discussion .................... wonderful!

Great Baby Shower gift
I love this book. Actually, I bought five books to give to family members for gifts. The message is wonderful and after reading... today may be a Tiger Day and ready to pounce on the day to begin or a fish day where you might feel a bit sad and crying or perhaps a monkey day looking forward to have FUN. Enjoy the book and have fun reading it.

The cutest book. Instant favorite.
I adore this book and so does my 2 year-old. It helps us find common ground to talk about his feelings, which are really big at this age.
