S48 Square Safari Cross Bars - 48" Length

I bought a second set of these after finding that the pair that came with my Surco roof basket were so darned useful. The only negative is that this kit doesn't include the Tee-slot nuts that slide down into the channels. (These come as part of the roof basket kit, but are useful for a lot of different applications - like attaching my solar panels to these bars on the roof of my pop-top camper.) Surco customer service was able to send me what I needed, but it's unfortunate that I don't see the nuts listed for sale anywhere for 1-stop shopping. Any regular 1/4-20 thread tee-nut or channel nut will likely work. I ended up ordering a bunch of extras from McMaster-Carr.

First i am the annoying driver usually going slower than you. These bars are well made but they are not streamlined. expect noise and vibration if you drive fast enough and they cannot be placed out of the airstream.
