Don't judge a book by its cover or dish detergent by its name.
Home and Planet dish liquid. Silly me thought this was going to be healthy for me and my home and good for the planet. Well, it's vegan (yay??) and has some plant-based cleansers. Okay. And it contains lavender oil. It smells good. It also cleans my dishes well. But, and this is a big one for me, it contains sodium lauryl sulfate, benzisothiazolinone, and, worst of all, methylisothiazolinone.. The first one is so it foams. We all want our dish soap to foam, even though the suds don't actually make the dishes any cleaner. The second two are preservatives and antimicrobials. All three can be skin irritants and can cause allergic reactions. The last one, in addition, is linked to possible lung toxicity and possible neurotoxicity. All in all, I'd say this sounded great, with the words "Spotlessly cleans dishes and small acts of love for the planet" on the label and the name Home and Planet, but I don't see it as being any better for my home or planet than any other known brand such as Dawn. It costs a little more, too.

Great soap... That meets ALL my needs
Overall, great dish soap. I purchased this soap on sale to compare with Mrs. Meyer’s Lavender Dish Soap (3 x 16 oz for around $12). I found this soap represented all my needs, and was at a better price comparison. Overall, I am very happy with this soap. It cleans tough messes well, kindly respects my hands, animals, the environment, and smells nice. I recommend giving it a try.

Best Dish Soap Ever
I love this dish soap. It's hands down the best I've ever used. I've always used Dawn before but this works much better. I was given a bottle in another scent and I loved it so much, I got on Amazon and bought the 6 pack. It also works great for wiping your counters, cabinets and stove.

Rose scented dishwashing liquid!
I bought this product specifically for the scent. It's lovely (and I wouldn't even mind if it was slightly stronger). It is an effective dishwashing liquid and the unexpected scent makes the job more pleasant. It is well-priced for 6 large bottles. HOWEVER, it is still in a single-use disposable PLASTIC bottle and there is no reason to believe that product itself is any better for the planet than any other dishwashing liquid. Also, why would anyone without a restaurant or a lot of kitchens need this many bottles of dishwashing liquid at once? Maybe if you were making a huge batch of rose-scented homemade bubble soap for a pre-school class project?

Best "safe" brand
I have tried several different eco-friendly dishwashing liquids and none bubble up like this one. I love the scent and the price too!

Great all around soap
With all the handwashing needed these days, these aromatherapy "dish" soaps have gotten a lot of use throughout the house, kitchen and baths. They are more sanitary/practical and soothing than bar soap. They are better than some bar soaps for washing the face too. These "dish" soaps also make a great soap for handwashing small garments. The scents of the vanilla and rose, the two we have bought, are wonderful and help decrease stress.

It's nice
I don't think it suds as well as Method or Mrs. Meyers, but it does the job. I have a dishwasher, so I mainly only hand wash pots and pans and (when I'm not lazy) silicone cooking utensils. I feel that I use more of this soap than some other "natural" brands. Since I don't fill up the sink to wash a single pan from dinner I put the soap directly on a scrub pad. I can usually wash one pan with one or two pumps (I use a large jar with a pump top). I love the rose scent. It's not overpowering, but definitely noticeable.

Smells amazing!
I absolutely love love love these dish soaps! They smell freaking great I cannot get over the scent! I was hesitant at first but I love them from the first day of use. I love that it comes in a set and I will definitely be ordering again! They work like regular dish soap but nothing compared to the scent. I wash anything just to smell the lovely scent I wouldn’t mind a body wash with the same scent!
