I have a squirrel proof feeder in my back garden.I feed a very tame Robin,blue tits,yellow tits,crows,sparrows pigeons & more.I fill the feeder up & throw bird food on the ground.The birds absolutely love it!I bought it because i want my garden birds eating the best food money can buy.

Birds love it and it doesn’t result in plants growing from the dropped seeds

Better quality than most rival products and doesn't get wasted.

Most of the seed in this mix is good and the birds enjoy it. However, there are also lots and lots of hard flakes in the mix that have the colour and look of cornflakes but are as hard as bricks, unlike cornflakes. None of the birds will touch them, even the pigeons leave them so you end up with a blanket of these things on the ground and have to sweep them up yourself.In the end, I picked out all the rest from the bag to save me having to pick them all off the ground.These flakes are also quite heavy in weight, I personally that think they have been put in the mix as a filler to bulk up the weight because they are certainly not there for the birds. Once you removed them all you lose so much weight, it's just not worth the money. I won't be buying this again unless they get rid of the flakes.

Bag had holes in it so the box was full of seed. Other than that the birds seemed to like it.
