what shoe size are thay?

I am not sure. I got them for my baby granddaughter to put out for St Nicholas on Dec 5. It is a dutch tradition to put out your wooden shoes on Dec 5. If you are good you get candy and goodies and if you are bad you get coal put in them.

are they comfortable?

Definitely not, they are only about 5 inches in length. However, they were perfect for what I needed them.
