G7900 200M Water Resistant G-Shock Rescue Digital Sports Watch - Black

I love this watch! The display is easy to read and very visible from most angles. The LCD segments are large and crisp, with the exception of a few small indicators that are harder to see, but not critical to operation. I can tell the time with a quick glance, unlike some other watches. The light does a good job at illuminating the entire dial from the back. The buttons operate well and are easy to push. The watch has all the main functions I wanted, plus several more. The watch band is comfortable and does not pull out my hair, nor does the free loop on the band get undone so the strap sticks out. This problem is common with rubbery wrist straps, which this watch does not have. The crystal is recessed and protected by lots of plastic and rubber. I've had this watch for 2 weeks and like everything about it. The font in the manual is pretty small, but the manual is well written - I have read the entire thing. I had to buy and return 2 other watches before finding this one. I'm glad I kept looking, there are dozens of G-Shock watches!

The media could not be loaded.  I got this watch initially for my dad but ended up giving him another watch I had. I love the way the red pops with the black on this watch. Feels so comfortable in hand so happy with this purchase

When my last watch band broke I was in the market for a new one. I shopped around for weeks, trying to find the best watch for my needs. Holy heck I am so glad I went with the G-Shock! I have a physically demanding job where I work outside with landscaping materials so I'm not only exposed to the elements, I am always covered in sand and mud and plant matter. This watch really holds up to all of the grime. The face is well protected, not a scratch on it! And the band fits nice and snug so it doesnt twist around and im not having to adjust it all the time. I dont like metal watches as they tend to be 1)more expensive and 2)less resistant to things like sand and mud so the rubber/plastic is great for me. Its easy to set (read the instructions). Ive used the alarm features and use the timer feature on it pretty often and it's a little quiet for me, but I'm deaf in one ear so I don't count that against the manufacturing. I really like that the night light isn't super bright so it doesnt hurt your eyes to check the time. I would 100% recommend this to anyone and would definitely buy again, although I doubt I'll need to replace it any time soon.

Very easy to read and great timer function but I like the most is water resistance, my brother in law loved it.

Great watch but the alarm functions are useless. You can not hear the alarm unless you hold right up to your ear.

Great product as a gift! Water resistant and works amazing. After 2 years of wear the bands have ripped but that is from excessive wear and tear

Lo compre para mi hijo y me gusto bastante calidad, tamaño,color todo muy bien.

Great watch, use every day and it still works like out of the box. I work construction and it hasn't seen a single scratch.Update: almost 5 years later and the watch is still going strong!

Cualquier gshock va a satisfacer al que busca un reloj robusto y duradero, resistente a golpes y al agua, pero el g7900 aúna muchas virtudes que lo hacen único.Este reloj es la suma del g9000 y el g9100, lo que significa que hereda las prestaciones de medición de tiempo del mudman (doble cronometro de 1000 horas con comienzo automático y temporizador autorepeat con alarma de progreso) y los datos de mareas y luna del gulfman.los glx6900 tienen el mismo módulo, pero montados en carcasa 6900 que en mi opinión se adapta peor a la muñeca y sobre todo, no tiene botones tan cómodos como el g7900, además los glx6900 van por encima en precioA partir de aquí, el resto de GLX y GLS de casio son aproximaciones parciales al módulo 3194, unos pierden uno de los cronómetros o los tienen sólo de 24 horas, otros van sin gráfico de luna y mareas... pero todos son de precio más alto que el g7900.Para el que prefiera la versión radio-controlada y solar está el gw7900, que normalmente cuesta 40 euros más, pero ojo, porque gana esas funciones pero pierde un cronómetro y el que tiene no tiene comienzo automático y es solo de 24 horas, el temporizador no tiene autorepeat ni alarma de progreso, la luz no se puede aumentar a 5 segundos y el gráfico lunar es sensiblemente más pequeño y difícil de leer.En una época donde la media de precio de los nuevos modelos de gshock supera los 200€, el g7900 ofrece las mejores funciones por un precio muy asequible, pero garantizando calidad y durabilidad.Hoy día este reloj es fácil de conseguir en el rango de 70-80€ por lo que es una compra inmejorable

secondo me questo G è il compromesso migliore tra ricchezza di funzionalità e prezzo basso... costa poco come un G-shock classico ma ha tante funzioni quasi quanto un top di gamma pur mantenendo il prezzo buono...comodissime le alette sul retro cassa per adattare meglio l'orologio al polso e apprezzo particolarmente tanto la robustezza le fasi lunari e la sua precisione!!unico appunto da fare a casio è che nelle istruzioni scrivono bene come settore tutto ma non ci sono i valori per regolare fasi lunari e maree (in italia) ho dovuto cercare su internet per un bel po prima di ottenere risultati giusti!

Excellente montre, je l'adore c'est une très belle montre et elle n'est pas si énorme que ca enfaite; elle a la bonne taille. C'est du CASIO RAS de ce coter toujours aussi bon matos et solide, rien a dire.Concernant le vendeur c'est du 5/5, rapide mais vraiment rapide ! Commandé le 19 février avec l'envoi éclair et recu le lendemain a 11h du mat' ! juste apres avoir recu un second message me disant que le chauffeur allé passé entre 11h et 13h et bah ca n'a pas loupé 11h05 et il était la ! excellent !Pour la boite c'est nickel bien enveloppé au cas ou il y aurai un choc et pour la montre bah je le redit c'est du CASIO, boite nickel avec manuel et une petite carte de garantie indiquant "2 ans".Voila parfait je vous conseille !

I wanted a watch that, with no pressing of button etc, would show me the current time, the date (I can never remember!!) and a guide to the current tidal level. I spent 3 days looking through each and every one offered by Amazon (they seemed to have the best variety of types around), and with each, I read the reviews and I looked at reviews outside of Amazon too before selecting this particular model. So why, you may ask, did I select this model? I had shortlisted 3 models, a Timex and 2 Casios. I rejected the Timex as the date was very unclear and I was left with a G-Shock model and a non-G-Shock one. I re-read the reviews and was impressed particularly by those related to this watch as the reviewers that both had the watch for a while and had realy put it through a lot more stress than I am likely to.So.........These are my first thoughts a couple of hours after delivery:1. Packaging - first rate - The watch comes in a padded tin, inside a cardboard box - all designed to thoroughly protect your purchase.2. Handbook - Well written (not a weird translation), and very easy to follow - DO NOT LOOSE IT, you may have difficulty remembering how to carry out the set up again when you change batteries (I'm assuming that, as is common practice, I will lose all my settings when this occurs)3. Watch - Slightly larger (thicker) than I expected but not so much that I was disappointed but would be difficult to wear with a traditional long sleeve button cuff shirt (that's rare for me as I'm now retired); Lighter than I expected from the size; Build quality excellent.4. Set-up - Fairly straight forward. From reading other's reviews, I was expecting it to be a little difficult but that wasn't so. For the tide function, I did look on the net whilst waiting for delivery and found the following site [...] has a list of locations around the UK with details of the Longitude and Lunitidal interval for each. If you don't happen to be in one of these areas you can extrapolate using the two nearest locations each side of yours - Please remember, this watch will only give an idea of the tides and should not be thought of as an accurate predictor). I took my time and still had the time, date, tide location, and a daily alarm all done in 20 mins which I consider reasonable for a watch with all of these (and other) features.I will update this once I've worn and used the watch, but my first impression is of money very well spent on an item that I will use daily.
