Taste of Home

I used to get this magazine back in the 1990's. Really like it at the time as it had some great recipes. Ordered the magazine subscription last year and it took "forever" to get the first issue. Wrote a couple times to question when my first issue would arrive. Finally got the first issue and was disappointed. The magazine is no longer as good as it once was and never knew when I was going to get the next issue. In fact, I think I only got 2 out of the 3 issues I was supposed to get. Luckily it was a cheap subscription so didn't really lose any money, but I did not renew the subscription. Sometimes I wonder if I got the magazine at the wrong time and the issues I got weren't what I was interested in and better ones would come in later issues. Maybe I need to check the issues on the magazine stands and see if there are issues I'm interested in and renew if there is. All I know for sure is that the couple issues I received I was not impressed with.

This is one magazine I save a few recipes from each month. I only select ones that contain ingredients I tend to have on hand and are easy to make and don’t need too many ingredients nor take too long to make. Almost every recipe I have made turns out to be one I make over and over because they are easy to make and tasty.

What was good? The ONLY ONE copy I received. What was the least? RECEIVING ONLY ONE ISSUE!

I was really looking forward to this subscription. Used to subscribe years ago and it was great. Spending more time at home now, decided to re-subscribe. Wow! Not what it used to be.

I like most of the recipes. Good layout of photos. I don’t like recipes entered without photos and photos WERE entered with each recipe. Would love more soup recipes

I've bought this before. Limited ads and fun recipes. No bizarre ingredients or complicated directions.

Recipes are great!

Taste of Home has been part of my family's cookbook collection for several years. It is nice to receive new recipes and ideas on a regular basis.
