RipSkirt Hawaii - Length 2 - Quick Wrap Cover-up That Multitasks as The Perfect Travel/Summer Skirt

Ok, so I love the "concept" but not necessarily the "execution" of this product. I'm 5'7 and typically wear a 16 in bottoms. I ordered the XL which says fits 16-18 BUT this was so small on me the only way I could get the Velcro to line up and stick was if I hiked it WAY up on my waist....so, ok, I can work with this maybe I thought. Wore it yesterday and it kept coming undone. Too small for me I guess. Totally love the idea of it though. Makes me sad.

This skirt is so comfortable! It is adjustable via velcro closure to wear as you wish. The skirt sits a little higher on me, alas - I am not as slim as the pictured model. This length -2- sits about 2 inches above my knees at 5'6". It is a bit higher in the back, because my hind end is not tiny. I am roughly a size 14-16, and ordered this in an XL. It is plenty roomy. The material has very little "give", but it fits loosely enough that it isn't a problem. I would love to see this company offer a 3rd length, perhaps 2 inches longer for us older ladies. We may not be young and super-slim, but a lot of us still want clothing that fit our active lifestyles.

I never write reviews but I am so impressed with this skirt. I gained weight while recovering from an injury so I was looking for a beach coverup skirt and came across this one on Amazon. Since it was a one day delivery for prime I brought this one in the print shown and a black one too-both in a size large. I just received them yesterday and was pleased that I took the pics right away. The sizing was very accurate, it was constructed well and the design was extremely flattering. I know these are going to my "go to skirt" as they will still fit and very flattering when I lose weight too. The waist is, of course, adjustable with the comfortable velcro closures( don' throw away the velcro piece attached with the tag you may want to add it later if you gain or lose weight). This skirt is great for a beach coverup but I guarantee you want to wear it every day with a t-shirt or blouse all summer long and into the fall even with cute pair of flats. This skirt will look amazing for any size woman.

I love the fabric and fit of this easy summer wrap skirt. Great as a swimsuit coverup but can also be worn all day long away from the pool. But the pocket is so tiny you could not even fit one credit card in it - so you might as well consider this skirt does not have any pocket- and that is a disappointment. A nice deep side seam pocket on both sides would be a very welcome addition! The lack of pocket and relatively high cost for this simple skirt is why I did not give it 5 stars. Also just a note - while the Amazon purchase provides free returns - if you go looking at the RipSkirt website for more styles, sizes or colors beware that the return shipping is NOT free when ordering direct. I made that mistake once.

I think I'm going to like this skirt very much, but man I wish there was a real pocket on it somewhere and not just the tiny one at the waistband. If it had a pocket large enough for a credit card/few dollars, it would be perfect! Great fabric, can shove it in a bag and be good to go. I got length 2 even though I'm only 5'4" because I like having a little coverage and I like wearing things at my waist, and I'm glad I did. When at my waist, it falls just above my knees with a little swing from the pleat in the back.

Perfection. Every spring I go on an active vacation with my family and wear a bathing suit and rashguard top for the day. How to go to lunch without changing? This brilliant skirt. It just wraps around my middle over my swimsuit. I can wear it up on my waist, or down on my hips. It's modest enough that I don't feel like I'm in a tennis skirt. For reference, I'm an athletic 5'5" 125 lbs with a 27" waist and 37" hips. The "small" fits me with plenty of room to spare - I could gain 5 lbs and it would still fit. The velcro closure is forgiving. The fabric is the type you'd expect from travel pants - it doesn't drape like a cotton/lycra knit. I find this a plus, as I can sit on wooden benches and rocks without snagging.Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Fits perfectly. Looks perfectly dry even when wrapped around a soaking bathing suit. Style is nice. The material is very cool.Update to this review. This skirt is the best purchase I've made this summer and I believe it will last several years. Sadly, I gained about 10 lbs, but the fact that it is an adjustable wrap allows it to fit me despite the extra pounds. When I lose the weight, I can wrap it a little tighter and it will still fit perfectly.The length hits just above my knees, I'm 5'8" if I stand up straight.It looks very good with the lightweight hoodie that I wear over my swimsuit, but I think it would look good with anything I wear during tje summer.I shove this skirt in the bottom of my bag yet it doesn't seem to wrinkle.It looks really true to the pictures, if I get brave I'll post a pic of it on me.

Do not think twice about ordering this skirt. It is perfect! It sits higher up on the waist for me than it shows in the picture so it's a couple inches above the knee I'm a dress size 12 or 14 and the large was perfect and the Velcro tabs adjustable so you don't have to worry about it coming in a perfect fit, you just adjust yourself! Material is very nice, I think I'll be ordering another!

As many others have indicated, this skirt really is your perfect beach/vacation/cruise skirt. It is sleek and simple, and its wraparound style serves a variation in sizing. I'm a size US8, and the medium fit me really well. I love how it doesn't wrinkle in your suitcase. Its material is kind of like 'board short' material, so it dries really quickly. I hesitated because it's on the expensive side, but once this RipSkirt was in my wardrobe, I didn't regret buying it for a second. I'll be looking at other colours for upcoming vacations (I just bought it in plain black).

Love it! It fits well and is just the right length, falling just above the knee. There is also enough wraparound so you don’t have to worry that it will fall open and be too revealing. It washes and dries easily, doesn’t wrinkle and folds up very small, so it’s perfect for travel. I also wear it cycling over those unflattering biking shorts. Just make sure you close the Velcro tabs when you throw it in the washer or everything will stick to it. Really, this is a perfect, multifunctional little skirt.

Love this skirt, I was worried about the sizing, I am a size 10, sometimes 12. Medium fits 8 to 10 , I picked the medium and glad I did. The skirt is adjustable so fits fine, large would have been too big.

This is a great $5 skirt. I paid the money because I was leaving on vacation and needed something quickly. But seriously for $50 plus dollars there is maybe a dollar's worth of fabric and two pieces of Velcro.My advice... shop around to find better value for your hard earned dollars.

This skirt is a travel must and if they get amazon pricing on other colors, I will buy more! I travel overseas with a back pack and this skirt will always be the first item i throw in. Great fit, packs nice and small and so functional...pretty too.

I just know I’ll get lots of use from this skirt. The material is a good weight and the Velcro is very secure. I wear a size 8 in a skirt. 5’9” tall and I got a size small. The length is perfect. Not too short or too long. Just a few inches above my knee. I’ll wear this instead of shorts. I got the black batik pattern length 2.

This skirt is perfect as a cover-up. I've only worn it a couple of times so far but I like it because it's more versatile than an sarong for over top of a bathing suit. I only wish this length came in more patterns. Ended up buying a second skirt in the shorter version because the design was more appealing.

I wasn’t sure which length to get (I’m 5’0” & 148 lbs) and ordered both. I love both. The length 1 length will be my daytime skirt over bathing suit and 2 length will be evening wear with dressier blouses. Perfect fit in Size 12-14. Lots of adjustability. Very flattering on.

Great fit and quality. Haven't had a chance to wear it to the beach yet, but know it will be fabulous on my upcoming holiday.

Great length, just above the knee. Very well made, love the detail at the back. Will be great on the beach or travelling with a pair of yoga shorts underneath.

I really like this wrap skirt, comfortable, lightweight and adjustable to fit. I like the little pocket on the inside to put money in your debit card.
