Oktava MK-012-02 Small Diaphragm Condenser Microphone with Cardioid and omnidirectional Capsules (Silver)

We purchased the MK-012 for live recordings of instruments. We were pleasantly surprised by the response. We compared recordings with our other small mics to the MK-012. We placed both mics, the same distance and recorded the guitar. The quality of the MK-012 was noticeably better than our other mics. The clarity is good. We also recorded a harp. For our recording needs, we needed a responsive high frequency mic to compliment our large diaphragm mic for live recordings. We have only recorded with these two instruments and voice to this point. For us, the mic performed better than expected.
