Though I wish this was made out of 100% linen or 100% cotton, it is still a wonderful flowy dress. I bought this off of the recommendation of April Graham. It stretches wonderfully in the waist and I love the length. It isn’t shear, and the color was spot on like the photos. I do wish it had pockets but oh well. You won’t regret this purchase. I already bought two of these and will be purchasing more soon. Thank you to the makers. You did a fantastic job.

Ohhhh, these dresses!!! I absolutely LOVE the fit of this style and have purchased two different patterns so far. I am 5’6”, proportional hourglass shape. The dress is fitted (not tight) through the chest and waist but flows so smoothly over hips. The white cherry dress is just opaque enough that you can safely wear shapewear or minimal undergarments. You won’t be able to wear a traditional panty without the line showing, though. See photos regarding the double layer of fabric on the chest. It gives enough modesty coverage that you can safely not wear a bra. These dresses do arrive very wrinkled and need serious steam-ironing! There are elastic loop buttons all the way down (see video). If you have very long nails like me, then hopefully a friend or significant other will help you loop all the buttons! Once the buttons are looped, you can wash the dress that way and avoid having to ever loop them again. I personally didn’t like the slit at the bottom of the dress, but it was very easy to close with a few hidden stitches. Giving this dress 5 stars because the style is so classy and fits perfectly. The fabric is super light and comfortable for summer.

I bought a few of these dresses after being unable to find what I was looking for at several different stores. Although ultimately positive, the reviews are what made me wait so long to finally order. There are so many mixed reviews regarding the cut and fit of the dress that it would make any reasonable person reluctant to buy. But I can tell you that they are absolutely worth it. Here are a few tips: 1) Unless the dress you receive is defective, THESE RUN TRUE TO SIZE. Don't trust the size chart they provide. According to the size chart I should be wearing XXL but the XL fits me loosely in the arms and bust and the L is a bit more fitted in the arms and bust. Both are loose and flowy from the waist down. Buy the size that you would normally buy to get the fit you want. If you like it more fitted, get your usual size. If you like it more roomy, size up one size. If you're very large chested or wear lined or padded bras I strongly recommend sizing up or you will have gaping where the buttons pull. I'm 5'7", 185 lbs, and have a proportional/hourglass body type for reference. 2) BE PREPARED TO MAKE SOME RETURNS. If you have bad luck with one dress, don't give up. These are made in China and the sizing, fit, and cut is inconsistent. Return it within the 30 day Amazon return window (which has been extended for the holiday season) and exchange it. I ordered another dress in a different pattern that came today (img 3) and the cut near the neckline is completely different than the first two dresses. As you can see this one is defective because it has another button (4 vs 5) resulting in a higher and tighter neckline, so I'll be exchanging it. None of the dresses have the flattering neck shoulders detail seen in some of the photos. Exchanging within the window is fast and easy. Just don't wait a month to open the dress. 3) WASH IN COLD WATER AND HANG DRY. Even then, you may lose about an inch in length only (not width). I ordered two of these (img 1+2) in the same size and they shrank differently. With one (img 1), I lost about an inch all around and the hem in the front shrank an additional inch while the other dress (img 2) experienced almost no noticeable shrinkage. Both were washed together on the same cold cycle. The dress in img 3 came looking like it had been washed already, very short. The dress in img 4 is nice and long like the first 2, but the color is much pinker than it appears in photos. That's pretty much it. As for the changes I would make to the dresses--some of the more solid, darker colors really should have black or navy buttons and tassels. The white isn't flattering. Other than that I really likes these dresses! Very flowy and comfortable. I've been wearing them to work. They're easy to style and don't take long to get ready in the morning. I'll be ordering more.

This is the absolute best dress ever! I have ordered and returned so many that don't fit, have permanent wrinkles, poor fabric or colors. This dress is a perfect delight in every way!!!! Thank you for loveliness, quality and bright colors! Easy to just dip in water and dry with iron-like perfection! Highly recommend especially for tall, slim builds.

I wanted to love this dress. I have a hard time finding any dress longer than the knee. I am 5'7" and mostly leg with a shorter torso (translate: disproportionate) and have a belly. I usually wear 12-14 and sometimes 10-12 depending on the style/cut of items. I bought this in a Large and also an XL just in case. I based this on previous reviews. I found that for the most part, this dress fit everywhere in the Large, but the deal breaker was that the button plackets were off, one was longer than the other. Also , many of the button loops were undone when I received the item and there was no way to loop the button as the loop was too small for the button. One more suggestion: BE AWARE when you are looking at these dresses that ALL OF THE BUTTONS AND LOOPS AND BELT are white! I figured as much from other reviews and zooming in on photos others took, but just in case you aren't going to prefer that, be sure you choose your color wisely. The belt can be cut off no problem, I think. Many people did do that. I also had issues with the weird shoulders on the dress. It has a peak or something at the very end of the shoulder and it is different on each shoulder because it isn't sewn the same on both sides. Think Jolie's version of Maleficent cheekbones only on your shoulders. Just odd. For the price, if you luck out and get one that is sewn decent, this would be an awesome dress. People expecting this to be a Gucci quality dress when they are paying this price are not using good sense. Also, it says to dry clean only. The dress is rayon. I can see where it would shrink crazy if you even hand wash and hang to dry. It will shrink and also draw up in crazy uneven lines unless you dry clean it, so keep that in mind. Had it been sewn straight on the button loops and plackets, I would have kept it. It is a cute style and I think for the most part, people get one that is sewn well which makes this dress a steal. I had to return mine and just decided I didn't want to take the chance and order another.

This dress was PERFECT for walking around the fair all day. I wear 14-16 typically and XL was a perfect fit. Works great if you have need something you can feed a baby in, buttons are real and functional and fairly easy to button but don’t come undone on their own, in my experience. The string and tassel on the front is decorative but my little kids all loved it, especially the baby. I will warn you, every sheep, goat, and deer we walked by tried to eat this dress or tried to follow me around. I got the yellow/marigold and red with the flower print and I think it must have been the color. Having said that, despite having at least three instances where someone said “Um excuse me, the sheep is chewing your dress” not a single livestock animal put any holes or caused any damage. This dress is a great material that I could wear the baby in the front pack and it wasn’t harsh under the straps or on the baby. All around great dress. I’m 5’5” and wore it with tevas and I never tripped over it, hit right at my ankles.

Nice fit

I recently purchased the VintageClothing Women's Floral Maxi Dress for the summer season and wanted to share my thoughts. First off, the dress is incredibly pretty! The floral pattern is vibrant and perfect for both beach outings and casual summer parties. However, as a curvy gal, I found that the fit didn't quite work for me. Unfortunately, it made me look a bit larger than I would have liked. While I'm plus size and usually look great in most dresses, this particular design emphasized my hips in a way that I wasn't expecting. The quality and comfort is great, and it comes with a subtle slip to help with the opacity. Again, great dress. If the waistline were a bit higher, I believe it would create a more flattering silhouette. It's a lovely dress, but I would suggest that curvier customers consider how the cut might fit their body type before purchasing. Overall, it’s a beautiful piece, but the fit may not be ideal for everyone.

No ironing looks and feel quality. Wish the waist was lower but it’s ok.

I loved the style of this dress - as an older lady was looking for a summer dress that was modest without being frumpy. Although there were warnings about the sizing, I accepted Amazon's recommendation that a Large would be ok for me. I could not find a size chart from the manufacturer. I would estimate the dress that was sent would be about a 10/12 UK size - just not wearable for me. I had not realized it had come from USA and it has cost me £18 to send it back. I hope the company will refund the postage as well as the cost of the dress. Disappointed!
