I bought this thing because I got tired of burning my hands and having to clean the microwave after things spilling and splattering all over the place this product is great I recommend this to anybody the handle stays cool when pulling it out of the microwave and there's no more mess in the microwave I love it with two lids I recommend this to anybody.

I got this microwave cover since our new microwave is on top of the stove and I kept burning myself with all my hot plates! This was the perfect solution! It is very durable and sturdy. It comes with two covers which I love so that if one is in the dishwasher, I always have another one. It also can be used for bowls and regular plates. I use this thing literally everyday. It just sits in my microwave because I am always using it! I would definitely recommend this for sure!

The microwave cover’s base fits some plates better than others. It fits my Fiesta plates perfectly. The ridge on the bottom of the plate sits right around the center ring of the red base, preventing the plate from sliding (see picture of pink plate.) Other plates do not hug the ring at all, which causes a higher chance of sliding. It works perfectly fine for my use.As for the clear plastic covers, they do not hug the edge of any of my plates. This is how every plate cover I’ve seen seems to function, so this is nothing new. It gets the job done. It would be nice if they added multiple lips around the outside edge to accommodate different sized plates in order to secure it from sliding, hence the 4 stars. Thankfully, the top won’t slide completely off because the handles sticking up prevent this. Out of the 1,000’s of plate that have been made throughout time, what are the chances it will fit the one or two sets you own? This could be solved by including a custom-made plate designed for this cover.For those complaining about the space between the red base and top of the plate, I would think they did that on purpose to minimize the chance of the plastic melting from contact with the plate since plates get hot. Overall, I’m happy with this and it get the job done.

All in all, this HerPro Microwave Cover set seemed like a great idea for easing the handling of hot plated foods, but fell short of expectations. I strongly advocate for the usage of a microwave cover, since it prevents food particles from splattering all over the microwave, but the plate caddy design of this set were a bit flawed to the size of my plates. If I were to use a smaller plate, the finger grooves of the cover don't quite clear the tops of the food being heated. Whereas, it clears better with the use of a larger plate, but not by much. Overall, this set will no doubt get the job done and provide plenty of ventilation, but if the design of the 'donut' inner portion of the red caddy could be reduced lower by a few centimeters or so (to allow for higher food height clearance) then that would make this product perfect.<Food props added as reference/examples>

Seriously, What have I ever done without this?? I don't hardly write reviews and I was looking for covers so I don't have to use paper towels and I found this.. And comes with a bottom part. One negative review said the top was bigger than than bottom and that's just a lie. This product, It's amazing!! I just used it and warmed up a bowl spaghetti and meat sauce, covered it up for 2 minutes... had a little splatter on the inside which would normally end up in the microwave are all over a paper towel yucky.... I even carried the bottom part, using the handles and they were nice and cool, into my room and used it as a placemat..nothing was hot but the bowl I did not have to touch. Normally I'm burning my fingers like crazy...it was perfect. Get this and buy it for others for Christmas, I'm getting one for my daughter and son and their family.. it's awesome.

Cool device that heats evenly and steams as well with its' design. Good product, easy to clean. seems to cook evenly unlike in a container. Gonna heat some roast up in a second, 3 thumbs up!

This product came with a cover that was defective. It had something attached to a very flimsy microwave cover that was defective because it could not be removed. I had to throw the cover out and use one I already had with the base. The base was fine. I tried to communicate with the company but they never responded.
