Universal Specialties Titanic Liquid Wave Paperweight Desk Toy

This is the COOLEST desk decoration ever! The blue ocean waves roll realistically as the Titanic bounces on it's sea surface. As the ship either passes, (or collides with), that infamous iceberg, it is beautifully hypnotic! A simple 'rolling surf kinetic toy' with motion that can be activated by simply doing a 'rocking motion' as you hold it in one hand--inducing a very calming and mesmerizing visual! As a collector of unusual trinkets, cool collectibles, and stress buster toys, I found this little desk paperweight toy to be an AWESOME purchase!

This was a gift for my son who LOVES all things Titanic. He was thrilled to get it and keeps it on his nightstand (where it looks like a decorative item, not a paperweight). I have caught him humming the movie's theme song as he tilts the paperweight to make waves. (I've also found it relaxing to tilt it and watch the boat rock on the waves.) He has packed it in luggage to show it to cousins, so it's traveled. It's been dropped by his sister, too, and is still intact. It is an attractive piece and fun for those who love the Titanic.

This is a fun and goofy item. It has the Titanic and an iceberg floating in a blue liquid which is supposed to be the ocean. But when you shake the toy, which you're supposed to do, the liquid has bubbles....not looking like the ocean at all! It is kind of gruesome to see this....knowing what happened to the Titanic. The person who designed this has an odd sense of humor. A lot of people died on the Titanic....

I purchased one of these this summer at the Titanic Museum in Branson for my 7yo. He was soooOoo disappointed when he dropped it on the hardwood floor & it shattered! Glad I found this for him for Christmas. Is it my imagination? Or is this thicker plastic than the one from the actual museum?! At any rate, my son was so surprised I found another one (I bought two just in case!) He has autism and loves the Titanic. This is like those sparkly calm down jars for him. He loves to look at it!

A very cool and unique gift for my Titanic-loving son. I find just as much enjoyment out of this as he does! You can't help but play with it! I highly recommend for anyone who is interested in the Titanic! The price was very reasonable as well, which is also a huge plus!!

Pros: Looks awesome. The way the "Water" looks like a mirror under the boat, and the way it moves. Cons: Its built super cheap. Mine had the big air bubble in it, and the base looks like it could break off and leak at any time. Overall: Its a fun, and looks cool. A child would probably break it quickly, and I don't want to have it in the office where it could leak overnight. I wish I could find some quality built little things like this, such as with glass/metal construction.

I did not buy this to serve as a paperweight but because my son loves titanic sooo much. After few days, i found a slight leak. I hope to buy it again but afraid that it would result to a leak in few days again. I'm giving this a 5-star rating because my son loves this soo much and i see his eyes glow when he opened the box.

We got this for our son 8 months ago and still haven’t had any issues with it. Very unique product. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decorative paper weight

Quality is good.But some spillage happened during the shipment.After cleaning it it looks wonderful.Nice product
