Nice soap dish, but it does have a few drawbacks. First, there is no drainage, so unless you empty it regularly, the soap will end up sitting in a little pool of water. Second, it's really not that big. I bought it to use with some handmade rectangular soaps and they just don't fit. It's shaped like a classic Dove soap bar and would work either with that or with something smaller. It's very nice looking, but I do wish it was a bit more practical.

Very nice looking ceramic soap dish that doesn't scratch the surface of my bathroom sink countertop. The bottom seems to be sanded well and maybe even has a light coating of something to prevent the scratching. It's been about 4-6 weeks in use and no scratching. I don't think it will now?The reason it missed the 5 star mark is because it is very shallow and it only holds an oval shaped bar of soap. If it had a bit more depth to the pan, I believe it would not only hold a round bar of soap it would hold the soap in it better which tend to slip out to easily.

Matches perfectly with my other matte black items. Feels sturdy, super easy to use/clean not worried about finish/etc. Great value for money too. Wish my other matte black items had this same sturdy finish.

Looks nice and has some heft. Wish there was a drain for water, but after going through countless soap dishes, I had to just settle and stop wasting time researching something as insignificant as soap dishes.

In all sincerity, the two stars are not for the product but the way it came through, from shipping. It had scratches revealing the white shade within. did not go through the hassle of return for a soap case. The product itself was as advertised.

So not too long ago, I purchased one of those natural brushes for facial exfoliation. I found that when I put it on the counter to dry, it may not be the most hygienic option. After scrolling through plates and trays, I ran into this soap dish which perfectly fit the idea! I love the matted black finish. Initially, I thought it had holes on the top surface to drain, but they’re raised bumps instead. Still works for what I need though. So if you’re looking for something that’s not for your soap, then this is the product for you! (Still functions as a great soap dish)

Great looking soap dish, I bought it for our guest bathroom and now I’m thinking I’m going to have to buy another for our bathroom.

Nice solid black coating, seems to be holding up well, I like it. Although I did think the dots were drainage holes and I was wrong.

This soap dish arrived sooner then expected and was exactly what was advertised. It's a nice matte finish and is of very good quality. I would order these products again.
