Nice product, perfect sound
Works perfectly. Excellent sound quality. I bought this as a replacement for some cheaper adaptors I found on Amazon which gave very distorted sound and lots of white noise. These have no white noise or distraction.I like the look of it as it nestles on the bottom of the phone and it came in a fancy box (a bit over the top if you ask me, but im not complaining).Using with a pixel 3 and it works fine for simultaneously charging and listening to music. It did pause my music when I plugged it in to charge but no issue unpausing.

Doesn't work with phone cases, emmits electrical frequency noise when charger is plugged in.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this adapter to charge my new Google Pixel 3 while streaming music through the aux port on my 07 Saturn Ion. Since the phone manufactures have ignored the fact that not everything is Bluetooth capable and have removed the 3.5mm audio jack from the phones, I was left with a problem that needed a solution. When I found the wordima adapter and read all of the good reviews I couldn't hit 'buy now' fast enough. I also picked up some new audio and charging cables of shorter length to clean things up on my dashboard. When the order arrived I unboxed it and then went out to the car to plug it in and try it out. With the vehicle running, as soon as I plugged in the charger cord to the adapter it immediately began emmiting an electrical frequency through the speakers. Unsure if it was due to the PD power point I had installed a few days prior, I switched over to a Tronsmart Quick Charge 3.0 charger that I had been using prior to installing the PD charger. Again I was greeted with the same noise. Curious to see if the noise would go away once plugged into the phone, I opened the charging port cover on the phones case to insert the adapter and that's when I found out that the USB C plug on the adapter would not reach the port on the phone. I have a Unicorn Beetle case that I feel is pretty slim considering how well it is built, especially when compared to the OtterBox version for the Pixel 3. I don't know anyone who 'barebacks' their devices these days, so this adapter likely won't work on any phone with a case. I pulled up the order and easily returned the item to Amazon, but felt I should leave a review so that others would know the details before making the same mistake I did. Also there was an Amazon gift card in the box offer an additional gift card for leaving a 'fair' review, but it said not to mention the gift card in the review..... Maybe that's why so many of the reviews were good and convinced me to buy the item without worry.

Surprised it worked
I ordered a couple of the Google adapters to replace the one I lost and bought this on a whim as well. At first thought it didn't work right but then realized I hadn't pushed my headphone cable all the way in. I actually like the sound quality of this better than the OEM Google adapter but it's not a big difference. The power input works but if you plug in while playing audio the adapter will have to reconnect; this will probably cause your player to pause because it thinks the output was removed.PROS:- Relatively cheap compared to other charger/audio combos.- Relatively small compared to other charger/audio combos.- Does in fact charge and play audio- Fast charge works for QuickCharge sourcesCONS:- Does NOT fast charge with PD charge sources. Unfortunately most of my chargers/devices are PD but it's not a big deal to me. I'm taking a star off because they specifically advertise that PD fast charging works.

Exactly what I was looking for. And can even drive my 300 ohm cans with ease.
Let's start off why I purchased this device and maybe it will also help you decide to get one too.I have a lot of headphones and IEMs. Some are easy to drive others not as much.So I had been using a portable dac amp to help drive those headphones or not using an amp and just dealing with the loss of volume and clarity that I bought higher end headphones for.The problem with using a typical portable dac amp is that they tend to charge their own battery from the device (phone or tablet) you are plugged into. This kills the battery in the phone or tablet at an alarming rate.So imagine how pleased I was to discover this usb-c adapter that not only allow for quick charging but has it's own built in dac.Built quality:The build quality is very nice and the "T" shape helps protect the usb-c jack.Unlike cable based adapters that almost always develop a short in them from moving around while plugged in I know that is something I won't have to worry about with this adapter.Sound Quality:While some people with still want to use a seperate amp with this adapter, and I even used one for my Beyerdynamic 990 Pro 600ohm cans. This is not a knock on the Wordima adapter as I would never expect an amp without its own power source to drive such a high impedance headphone. With that said it can easily drive everything else from 32ohm IEMs to 300ohm headphones with plenty of headroom. The sound profile favors mid-bass but does not make it overpowering or mushy. Basically if you have headphones which are already tuned for the lower end this just gives it a little push without sacrificing quality.I found the sound profile great for my genre of music; jazz, classical and 70's rock.Compatibility:I successfully used this with my Google Pixel 3a XL, 11" iPad Pro and a portable DAP.I have a laptop at work that has a USB-C port that I can't wait to try it on that come Monday. While I have not tired it I would think it could even function as a dac and charger for a USB-C equipped Chromebook.Charging:The Wordima charges your device at the rate that your device would charge without it or so near I could not tell the difference.I did not notice an increase in the USB-C port of my devices while charging.Summary:To sum everything up just buy one.It will provide the extra sound qually you cannot get from a headphone jack all the while keeping your device charged and ready to go.
