heir to the dark throne
Anyone who is a fan of Darkthrone's Panzerfaust, even Gorgoroth's "Antichrist" will love this album. Horna is a brand of Finnish Black Metal that reminds me a lot of any of the cold, nordic black metal I've heard. There's nothing new really that's done on this album, but if you tend to like this genre, then Musta Kaipuu is a must have. It sounds as though recorded in a garage, or in this case, a dungeon. Download the entire album if you like "Piina", track one, because the rest follows its true black metal lead.

How ironic that this collection of leftover songs from the Envaatnags Eflos Solf Esgantaavne album session, actually contains some of the blackened Finnish hordes finest ever songs, many of which stick in your head long after you've finished playing them - unlike the forgettable material present on the much lauded (why?) Sanojesi äärelle album. There's absolutely no filler on this release - just ten killer songs of the finest grim, cold, melodic Finnish black metal you'll ever hear.
