PLATANUS - 41 Pieces Set - Irrigation Fittings Kit for 1/2'' Tubing (16mm, 0.520”ID)- 10 Tees, 10 Couplings, 10 Elbows, 10 Tubing End and 1 Switch Valve - Barbed Connectors for Drip Irrigation Systems

So far all parts do for what they are made for; the exception are the end of line pieces. These are the type with two holes, the tube it inserted into one hole, the tube is then folded back and the plastic piexe then slides back over the tube end. These look well made and probably work well someplace but not with 1/2" irrigation tubing which is normally just a little under 3/4" diameter on the outside. These end of line pieces have holes about 5/8", smaller than the irrigation tubing outside diameter. All other parts in this kit are great.

WARNING: This assortment of 1/2" barb fittings WILL NOT work with 1/2" tubing that has an ID larger than 0.56".Although Platanus states this in the product description, it's easy to overlook.The 1/2" tubing I bought had an ID of 0.60" and ALL fittings leaked and separated from the tubing once water was turn on even though the water pressure had been reduced to 25 PSI. I had to buy Rainbird barbed fittings with a retaining screw (which is more expensive) at Lowes to secure the connections for my 1/2" tubing. The Rainbird fittings did not leak and worked perfectly with my 1/2" tubing.So be sure you know the ID of your 1/2" tubing BEFORE buying these fittings.

I get different brands all the time for 1/2” drip irrigation and so far they have all been interchangeable. These are all too small they fall right out of the 1/2” irrigation hose. I did not notice if the description said that it only works for a certain brand or anything. Such a bummer

Does not fit well 1/2 "drip irrigation tube, comes out due to water pressure

Fittings are too loose inside the irrigation tube

Works very well with my misting nozes and PVC pipe to create a setup for my plants. A little dab of e5000 goes a long way to making sure theres no leaks though. And the price was reasonable to play around with since this was a pinterest project. Haha
