Is this a brand-new pen that has never been used? Does it come with an official case? Are all Sailor ink cartridges compatible with the 1911?

Of course. It is brand new and has never been used. The official case and two ink cartridges are included in this pen.

Is it made out of Resin? What does “GT” mean?

It seems to be resin. Not sure what GT means. The pen is my favorite (of five including three that were more expensive). It has a great nib and writes very smoothly. I appreciate that it is not a heavy pen, that makes it easier for travel and taking a lot of notes.
