So great for embarrassing dry mouth
I wasn't sure what to expect with these. I get extremely dry mouth when I am in stressful situations, even if it's something I don't think should be stressful. No amount of drinking water or mints or gum helps. Along with the dry mouth I lick my lips a lot, which creates a vicious circle where I am getting "dry" saliva on my lips and it quickly becomes kind of gooey, so I'm then wiping my mouth, which makes me self conscious and it keeps going. It's very embarrassing in social situations. Chatgpt (my new best friend) gave me a good explanation of the stress response and made some suggestions what to use. When I came to Amazon to look for those products, this popped up so I thought I would give it a try. I am very surprised to say it works. Not 100% but I would say around 90% which is a huge improvement. I just pop one in my mouth before or during one of those stressful situations. It discreetly attaches to my gum and lightly coats the inside of my mouth. The disc itself lasts about an hour and the moisture level after wards is about the same, so generally enough to get me through a stressful situation. I have also used it at night and it has helped so I'm not waking up with dry mouth. Will definitely keep this in stock for myself.

Say Goodbye to Dry Mouth!
Perfect relief from dry mouth. So easy to use as it adheres to your mouth. You can put one in and go to sleep without fear of it coming loose and causing accidental choking. It is effective in keeping your mouth lubricated and decreases the risk of tooth decay which leads to more serious health problems. So comfortable , you will forget you have it in. It’s affordable, you can keep them with you wherever you go. Definitely worth the money. Each one last 7-8 hours ensuring a good nights sleep.

Xylimelts work!
I have dealt with dry mouth at night for quite awhile. I have tried a variety of chin straps which helped a little. I finally decided to try these melts because awhile ago my dentist suggested them. They are absolutely a blessing. They are my night time routine. I can sleep without my mouth stuck in dryness. Thank you.

Works Okay, Hurts My Gums Though
Works decently. Good for occasional use but it hurts my gums since it's so hard. But I have dental issues so I don't know if it's that or not. Additonally, the instructions for having it stick isn't quite right. It moves even after ten seconds. It sticks really well, but takes longer to do so than stated. Typically I kept it on my gums and adjusted it if it moved until it finally stuck after a minute maybe. Honestly, I prefer gum. I used this when doing a call center job. Did the trick and prevented weird noises associated with gum and lozenges. But if you don't work that kind of job, gum or lozenges is probably better. Sugarfree would be best to protect your teeth.

They work!
My dentist gave me some samples when I told her I get bad dry mouth from medication I take. These kinda stick to your back tooth so you're not annoyingly rolling it around in your mouth. AND it keeps your saliva flowing like you're not on meds! These are a must have for me now.

best option
This is the best option for dry mouth during sleeping that I've found. Mouth wash does not last as long, lozenges (from various brands) are too sweet and does not melt if you don't play with it. This has a very very subtle sweetness just so it is bearable, but is not too strong. It sticks to your gum line quite well and provides "timed release" effectiveness.

OraMoist VS Xylimelts is like wet mouth vs kids quick dissolving sweet candy
Update to below review, I tried the biotene gel in the tube, only lasts a short time and has a taste, the OraMoist patch still is the best IMHO.Xylimelts Mint Free vs Quantum Health's 510mg OraMoist dry mouth patch night/day time. I tried Xylimelts because CVS stopped stocking QH's OraMoist which I have used since 2014, and because the reviews for OraMoist were lower than Xylimelts due to OraMoist having a stringy consistency. Here are my experiences and why I will never buy XyliMelts again and will continue with QH's OraMoist (other manufacturer's also have product labeled OraMoist so I specify Quantum Health brand because I have tried the other brands with same product name):1) Placement : Xylimelts states to place on side of molar or adjoining gum - despite multiple attempts I could not achieve this possibly because my molars are small and therefore curvature too acute, but the gum didn't work either, so after several attempts I placed it on roof of mouth like OraMoist and it stuck. OraMoist 100% sticks to roof of mouth quickly and on the fly running out door without fail or frustration.2) Duration: How long they last. Naturally this depends on each person and tongue habits and will be based on roof of mouth placement. It is natural for the tongue to agitate and play with anything stuck on roof of mouth during waking hours. The OraMoist lasts almost two hours awake and my mouth is coated in morning, since tooth decay is associated with dry mouth often caused by prescriptions the purpose of keeping mouth moist to protect teeth is accomplished - I even have woofed food down on the fly and the OraMoist still remained on roof mouth and is tasteless to me. Xylimelts tastes like you have put a packet of artificial sweeter in your mouth and is unrelenting in sweet fake sugar taste and dissolves QUICKLY leaving what feels like a jagged cardboard contact lens stuck to roof of mouth requiring manual removal, it lasted less than 15 minutes and no different then popping something like a tictac in your mouth.3) Consistency texture: Xylimelts feels like a quick dissolving powdered lozenge with in your face sweet kick and leaves what feels like sheet of cardboard behind to be scraped off. OraMoist is mute in background, neutral taste but has a short string consistency about halfway into its depth, it has a very WET feel, like short fibrous strokes of gelled water. If awake your tongue will likely fiddle with the very soft gelled fibers. The part that sticks to mouth has is not left behind anything and I cannot detect a difference in the product when I hit the contact point. Conclusion IMHO - OraMoist by Quantum lasts long time, neutral in taste, can handle drinking fluids while exercising, can handle a quick woof of a few chicken nuggets or fast burger (not recommended diet but happens about three times a year), but most importantly it puts a noticeable wet feel in mouth. Xylimelts is not hassle free and mute in the background and does not last long at all and no different than sucking on a extremely sweet sugar free powdered lozenge.
