2007-2010 High Pressure Pump for Cooper S R55 R56 R57 R58 R59 N14 Model 13517573436 NEW

My little gem of a 2007 Mini Cooper S that I rescued from a scrap yard came to me with a few failing parts. The high pressure fuel pump was one of those. It would start, but it would take a good 15+ times on a cold start to get the engine fired up. After doing some looking around I came across this pump here on Amazon. The price was right and other reviewers had good things to say. It came in very quickly and I had a friend install it for me. Car fires up first time now, no issues! This is a solid buy. Thank you!

This appears to be OEM new for way less than 1/2 the price from Mini. My Mini mechanic was impressed with it and it is working great so far. If you think a China high pressure pump for $175 is going to work, then you need to wake up. Spend the extra money for this unit. I will update if anything changes.

This pump worked for only 5 months before failing. Add says (100% warranty) but I tryed to contact the seller they gave me the run around saying that the pump is not bad and i have to give them an error code for the pump to be bad even though i have done all the diagnostics and can prove the pump is bad. Now im out $650 and have a car that needs a another fuel pump. Please dont waste your time or money with this seller.

I was a bit skeptical about this as it's priced lower than the ones available from my local parts stores, however so far its working great. Got it installed and engine started up first try. It ran a bit rough but after a 10 minute drive there have been no issues. We've only had it in about a week, but so far so good. Hopefully I will never have cause to need the warranty, but it is nice knowing it has one.

This HPFP was very easy to install (once the existing one cools down enough to touch). Once the pump was installed on my 2008 Mini R55, it cranked up perfectly and now runs so much better than before. I’m very happy with the product!

I took a gamble on this. i was Leary. I got this for a Mini Cooper 2010 S. I found out the Mini has some issues in this area. Things most people are not aware of - the camshaft is a known issue for these going bad and having a new pump will not fix this. I was lucky. The camshaft was in very good shape. this pump works as described. I have had it in for about a month with no issues. About 1200 miles so far. if this changes i will update the review. I am happy with the pump.

Pump arrived quickly and very well packed in a total of 3 boxes. Fuel ports were covered with protective caps to keep ports clean. Took about 1 hr to install in my driveway with a few hand tools (needed torx bit). Pump produces about 1300 to 1800 psi at the fuel rail depending on RPM. Engine started on the first try with a slightly extended crank cycle. Dealer wanted $1700 for this part. I say even if I go thru two of these pumps, then its still worth it. Original symptom was poor cold starts, extended start cycles, rough jumpy starts in the morning, slow acceleration response, poor fuel economy, and multiple misfire codes on a daily basis. This fixed all those issues in one fairly simple repair.

Great price for a part that would otherwise require a 2nd mortgage from most suppliers. Seems to have fixed our problem starting the car.
