Cottage Garden Broken Chain Rich Woodgrain Finish with Ornate Inlay Jewelry Music Box Plays Song Amazing Grace

The box was very lovely but the music box played Amazing Grace so fast that the song was almost unrecognizable and sounded like a upbeat song which was not appropriate for an memorial gift. I almost sent it back but thanks to Youtube I learn if you push the spinner up it will slow the song down I was able to pop out the inner side wall and unscrew it from the bottom so the spinner was easier to push on. Then it was perfect. Make sure to use something flat and be careful not to damage the flaps. Check it out for yourself before doing it.

The music box and the Broken Chain poem were lovely. However, the meter for tune "Amazing Grace" was much too fast. If it had played according to the way the song is normally played in the USA, it would have made a delightful gift for the loss of a loved one. I sent it anyway, but was disappointed about the speed of the music. (Box contents were from China, so I assume they simply don't know what the meter should be.) ;-(

This box is gorgeous, I instantly fell in love with it. I'm deducting a star because the music is high pitched and the song plays quite fast, it doesn't match the sweet gentle poem or classy look. I don't have much experience with music boxes so maybe all are like this and it should be expected, I'm just not super fond of the sound.

Love this box instead of getting flowers for my aunts funeral I sent this which one of her granddaughters received. She loves it. So much better than flowers and a memory of her grandmother.
